- Here are the TOP 10 judoka of 2019 based on the IJF point system. I adapted the system by adding three extra criteria. #1. The judoka must've won gold at the World Championships or Masters. #2. Zero points were given for 5th place finishes. #3 -500 points for placing less than 5th. This is because the best judoka should almost never lose and be extremely consistent, but there are many judoka who compete often and have many more points than ONO Shohei for example, but are they a better judoka than him? I think not. Let me know what you think of this system!

This is based off a point system, but I totally agree he is probably the #1 judoka. Maybe I should make a biased list

Also, I would not have put Matthias Casse up there. I hate to say it but the -81kg final was tainted because of what happened to Saeid Mollaei and Iran. That final should have been Sagi Muki vs. Saeid Mollaei. That is not to say that Casse isn't an outstanding judoka and athlete. He is, but I don't believe he beats Mollaei if Mollaei was trying to win.
mollae isn't that good as you think, it was once in top 3 81 but not anymore
@@gigagigaa9696 It's because he's had to fake injuries and throw matches over the year to avoid fighting Sagi Muki. His life and his family's lives were being threatened by the Iranian government. He was forced to give up against Casse at the World Championships.

Excellent system - especially the negative point part - but why does every non-world champion need gold in Masters? Do you really think the Masters is so important?
Mathias Casse won the Masters because Sagi Muki did not show up in the final - otherwise he would not win!
I would suggest the following changes:
1. 0 points for Junior World Championships(unfair as only u21 can participate).
2. 0 points for 5th place as suggested but only -300 for 7th place(still means something) and -500 for not reaching quater finals.
3. ×2 (double) the points for European Championships and Asian Championships medals - as almost everyone in this list are asian or european anyways.
4. ×0.7 points for Masters medals.
5. ×1.5 points for World Championships medals.
What do you think?
Hey I’m liking your ideas. Might have to implement these next year! And yes, seeing as the masters is the second highest level of competition, I think it’s good to include this

Pretty impressive to be #10 and only participate in two competitions. Most people in this list have been apart of 4 or 5. So he’s the #1 ranking judoka if judged by their two best results
Judo Highlights he’s actually number one because he’s the world champion. Most sports set the premier title holder as #1

Very confusing sport.
I propose that a tournament be created where the judokas - or whoever else wants to participate - are not allowed to wear a ghi. Think about it.
I’ll admit it is a confusing sport to those who don’t do judo. There are a lot of technicalities nowadays about where and how you can grab the gi. Although for myself, I love judo and wouldn’t change a thing about it.
@@JudoHighlights2015 But a tournament without the gi could be really interesting. My guess is the core principles behind each throw and technique remains the same, but the implementation would have to be modified. It could be quite challenging and interesting for the contestants.
StudSupreme they have a similar sport that very often is “no Gi”, it’s called Ju Jit Su

これは2019の全ての試合の結果を見ています。そしてIJFが使っているポイント制度も使っています。この基準で大野は1番ではないんですが、誰が1番なのかみんな分かっています
