This home is beautiful and Scandinavian Modern but definitely not Hygge. There aren't enough soft surfaces nor layers and the emphasis is on the outdoors, not on creating a warm, comfortable, and casual interior. Is there even a wood burning fireplace, an essential element in Hygge design?

Very pleasant spatial sequencing. The slate siding is beautiful. Reminds me of structures I've seen in Luxembourg or eastern Belgium.
