well done,, lets say I want to have textboxes and use the button click event to add the strings or ints to an array before they get displayed in the List box, how would i go abut that cheers

Create a List of Strings and do something like this: using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Diagnostics;
List colorsList = new List();
colorsList.Add("blue");
colorsList.Add("red");
colorsList.Add("orange");
colorsList.Add("aqua");
