    CD laddering is one of the smartest moves I made in diversifying my investments. 📈💰 By strategically spreading my investments across multiple CDs with varying maturities, I've not only safeguarded my capital but also enjoyed consistent returns.I wasn't financially free until my 40s, and I'm still in my 40s. I've bought my second house, earn on a monthly basis through passive income, and achieved 4 out of 5 goals. Investments are a wise decision I made

      Glad I came across this comment section. I was struggling to decide what to do with a good amount of money in the bank doing nothing. I would be happy if you could advise me, as I am ready to go the passive income path.

      Okay, so generally speaking, investing calls for more knowledge. For this reason, it's crucial to have a strong support system (financial counselor) to lead you through, particularly while choosing assets. I work with (REGINA LOUISE COLLARO), a registered wealth management company's partner investment advisor. For the record, it has been the best experience for my finances. You may have heard of her because of how well-known her services are.
      She helped me become financially solid through investment, and now I profit from her passive income strategies on a monthly basis.Therefore, I'll suggest that you choose a reliable investment advisor for yourself.

      personally, I'm blessed and realizing I'm not the only one working with Regina Louise Collaro. I will consider myself lucky. I've been able to feed and make a living through her advice and great work. For such a person as Regina, I owe her gratitude, support and endless prayers as it is not easy to gain access to such a competent and reliable adviser. Who isn't just wise but has all it takes to handle an investment and is good at what she does.

      The interest is usually taxed as ordinary income for whatever your tax bracket is. Some banks will withhold the taxes, and some will not. You will have to check.

    Fidelity offers a 4 teer ladder for 1 year say at 5.30% and a 1 year for 5.30% if I did one of these for $240K how much difference would the return between them. I am having a hard time calculating the difference between them. Any advice would help me I'm in my 70's and can't figure in teer return part in 4 stags out

    Actually there’s only one sentence about CD ladder in this briefing. And unfortunately they made a mistake about this only point related to the title. “If you want to arrange 30,000 in a CD ladder with an interval of 6 months, you can put 10K in 6month cd, 10K in 1 yr cd, and 10K in 3 yr cd”😂

    The CDs my bank issues are made of paper. I would never try to climb a paper ladder.
    Seriously, Municipal Bonds, T-Bills, Bonds & Notes work out much better. The interest on them is tax-free.

    In a hyperinflationary environment this is not a good investment strategy.
    I think your intention is to help the banks absorb savings and then further increase inflation.

    • @g.t.richardson6311
      @g.t.richardson6311 6 месяцев назад +2

      You are correct that in the current environment, they do not keep up with inflation
      Having all your investments and CDs, as you said, would not be wise.
      However, I use them for money. I know I will need in the next year or two in lieu of getting almost no interest in a savings account., Why not make 5+ percent in CDs? Bulk of my net worth is not in CDs, But it is a good place to park cash you don’t have an immediate need for, but will need in the next 12 to 18 months
