Previously I used to not like BJP for their high handed attitude and taxing (nor Congress). This video underlines one important aspect of BJP which we take for granted. BJP (and to some extent INC) are the only parties who think for India and its security. Others are regional parties and very narrow in their scope and policies.They rarely think in terms of nation building. It is a sad thing that BJP lost the latest WB elections.

I'm from Bengal and we are fed up with the dirty politics. No development, no infrastructure. Government is appeasing people by giving money in their hand by different scheme. Government job scope very little and there is also bribery. No industry. People are going outside the state to earn their livelihood. Eduction and health quality is very bad. Rich people prefer private school than government. We want job so that we can live happily but government is paralysing people by giving money and they are reluctant to give job.

It is estimated that approx 20 Million illegal immigrants from Bangladesh have migrated to India. However with Bangladesh now ahead of India on SDI, HDI, and per capita income, we may hopefully witness reverse migration back to Bangladesh.

In any case with Bangladesh doing better than India on all parameters, many from the minority community here may choose to return and become a part of the majority in Bangladesh.

Thankyou Sir.. This left ideology is outdated now. I am in kolkata since 2017 and in last 4 years , I didn't see any big change. The same old crowded buses on streets, old towns with mismanaged street vendors out there ,throwing garbages ,building jhuggis on most of the footpaths and living an unhygienic life which inturn affects the quality of living of others also. A lot of (pollution + moisture) in kolkata can easily make u suffocate. The average temperature (say 33 deg. Celsius feels like 43 deg ) or (30 -> 40). The Britishers whose selfish policies along with Bengal famine left millions died. (The age old British made Trams in kolkata is still running which is of no use now + brought huge traffic+ noisy+ very less ppl prefer this as it is very slow).The bengal government is busy preserving the old Trams in the streets of kolkata saying it is the "Heritage of Kolkata". i had a lot of hopes and feelings but may be sometimes they never go hand in hand.

Who told left is responsible for everything? The labour and peasant problem was solved to most extent by the left front and it proved to be a boost for west Bengal's agri output. This happened in the late 70s and 80s but later we needed industrial impetus which I feel we couldn't get as the old industrial units became sick for various reasons (both economic and political)for example jute and tanneries,but in their place software and IT came in alongwith others service based industry.But the overdependence on kolkata as the sole urban agglomeration in the state has held the state back. And definitely the lawlessness of TMC did a lot of harm too.But remember that the same people are migrating to bjp for safe haven.So the bad days of Bengal are going nowhere. And I have serious reservations about the jhuggis and tram portion.

Being born in Siliguri and subsequently growing up in Kolkata, den moving to Delhi for work and now in Hyderabad has always been tough. Since current state government brings in illegal immigrants from Bangladesh to win elections and treating Muslims as vote banks has largely affected the states growth in terms of economy and peace.

@TheAddyV no, he equally appreciated several policies of left which were social and for the poor but as he rightly said and which is a fact that human being is a progressive being, he cannot stay fulfilled once his basic needs are fulfilled and there where communism and socialism fails, coz you see cpi after reaching saturation started following capitalism and the parties which cannot stay loyal to its ideology and foundation cannot stay loyal to people and country. His narrative and ideology maybe one sided but it is the right side and people are accepting this narrative cos they have understood the failures and drawbacks of other narratives being promulagted by parties like, congress, cpi, tmc and that's why they are losing support from people of India.

Previously I used to not like BJP for their high handed attitude and taxing (nor Congress). This video underlines one important aspect of BJP which we take for granted. BJP (and to some extent INC) are the only parties who think for India and its security. Others are regional parties and very narrow in their scope and policies.They rarely think in terms of nation building. It is a sad thing that BJP lost the latest WB elections.

I'm from Bengal and we are fed up with the dirty politics. No development, no infrastructure. Government is appeasing people by giving money in their hand by different scheme. Government job scope very little and there is also bribery. No industry. People are going outside the state to earn their livelihood. Eduction and health quality is very bad. Rich people prefer private school than government. We want job so that we can live happily but government is paralysing people by giving money and they are reluctant to give job.

In any case with Bangladesh doing better than India on all parameters, many from the minority community here may choose to return and become a part of the majority in Bangladesh.

@Subhadeep Mandal There has been no specific census to confirm the presence of 20 million illegal Muslim migrants. This is an approximate number mentioned in media. The unemployment situation in Bangladesh today is much less in Bangladesh due to tremendous opportunities in the garment industry.
In any case, HM Shri Amit Shahji has threatened to send back the Termites to Bangladesh. So hopefully many will return back to their original home.

But now i support BJP.
We demand NRC especially in North Bengal.
But Bengal's BJP is not strong. There is not a single BJP leader in Bengal whom people can follow.

But being BJP supporter what I don't understand is how china being communist successfully improved it's economy and reached 14 trillion dollar economy, but our indian capitalist government is still struggling to cross 3 trillion dollars economy mark after 7 years?

I am in kolkata since 2017 and in last 4 years , I didn't see any big change. The same old crowded buses on streets, old towns with mismanaged street vendors out there ,throwing garbages ,building jhuggis on most of the footpaths and living an unhygienic life which inturn affects the quality of living of others also. A lot of (pollution + moisture) in kolkata can easily make u suffocate.
The average temperature (say 33 deg. Celsius feels like 43 deg ) or (30 -> 40).
The Britishers whose selfish policies along with Bengal famine left millions died.
(The age old British made Trams in kolkata is still running which is of no use now + brought huge traffic+ noisy+ very less ppl prefer this as it is very slow).The bengal government is busy preserving the old Trams in the streets of kolkata saying it is the "Heritage of Kolkata".
i had a lot of hopes and feelings but may be sometimes they never go hand in hand.

The labour and peasant problem was solved to most extent by the left front and it proved to be a boost for west Bengal's agri output.
This happened in the late 70s and 80s but later we needed industrial impetus which I feel we couldn't get as the old industrial units became sick for various reasons (both economic and political)for example jute and tanneries,but in their place software and IT came in alongwith others service based industry.But the overdependence on kolkata as the sole urban agglomeration in the state has held the state back.
And definitely the lawlessness of TMC did a lot of harm too.But remember that the same people are migrating to bjp for safe haven.So the bad days of Bengal are going nowhere.
And I have serious reservations about the jhuggis and tram portion.
