    Honestly you are the best teacher. It's the first time I have seen any Indian teacher to actually TEACH and indulge creativity rather than just preparing for competitive exams. I got fed up with Indian educators due to their non-creative and exam oriented teaching. You are the first one who stress effort on meaning full and actual learning which is practical in real life rather than just cracking exams. This is the way education should be rather than a competitive exam rat race.

      due to the same effect that is caused by the flow of electrons, we can consider conventional current (effect of flow of +ve charge) for ease.

    I like your videos even before completing them cause I know they are gonna be a banger, apart from that I consider you my idol 😊 , you're really a great teacher as well as a great personality, I wish my study peers could be like you (prioritizing learning and understanding over marks and ranks) , the pursuit of knowledge is the greatest human endeavor. Sir , I used to and still am very afraid of asking conceptual doubts during class , the reason being teachers never address them they say that's how things are and you must know that much only not why they are the way they are , like once I asked my physics teacher when he was teaching us about projectile motion , " how could the initial velocity of the projectlie be a constant (u) like you said , how can someone or something give it a constant velocity at the start , only while dropping a object vertically from a certain height can we give it a constant initial velocity (of 0m/s) ?" But he laughed and said don't you even know impulse and momentum, and then didn't even address my doubt properly, the answer didn't not make any sense to me , can you help me with this doubt , sir ?, I will be super happy to learn from your perspective 😊

    • @Mahesh_Shenoy
      @Mahesh_Shenoy  Год назад +3

      Wow, thanks Rishi :D
      I don't understand the question. What do you mean the 'initial velocity of a projectile is constant?'

    • @VyomMath
      @VyomMath Год назад

      @@Mahesh_Shenoy thanks for replying, sir. I meant to say that if we consider earth a inertial frame of reference (that's one assumption books like ncert, hcv take while teaching projectlie motion) and then consider the motion of a projectlie (object which is in projectlie motion) , then books say a projectile /object has a initial velocity "u" m/s at a angle "θ" with the horizontal (both u and θ are constant) and the projectlie has a downward acceleration of "g" m/s² , now I want to know how can it be possible that the projectlie has a constant initial velocity (of "u" m/s) , like if a object is at rest then it can't just start moving with a constant velocity suddenly , we need to apply force in order to move it (change it's state of motion from rest to moving) , therefore a force must be applied on the projetile to give it a acceleration and thus the initial state of the projetile is : 0 m/s velocity and a downward acceleration of "g" m/s² and a acceleration of "a" m/s² (in the direction where force is applied , since it is a projectile motion we can say that the acceleration "a" m/s² makes an angle "θ" with the horizontal).

    • @Mahesh_Shenoy
      @Mahesh_Shenoy  Год назад +1

      @@VyomMath Got it. What do you consider as 'initial'?
      initial = whenever you start your timer. So it's when the timer shows 0 (and has just started).
      Since you are free to start the timer whenever you want, you can pick that stone lying on the ground and throw it at some angle. When the stone leaves your hand, we will start the timer and call that velocity as the initial velocity = u.
      Does that make sense?

    • @VyomMath
      @VyomMath Год назад

      @@Mahesh_Shenoy yes I got it now, so the "initial" is when the object has left our hand and has attained a constant velocity "u" in some direction w.r.t horizontal and at this time we start the timer (t=0) and do all the calculations accordingly. The initial velocity is constant because we give it some momentum while throwing, like we swing our arm for some time and in this time the object attains some velocity, then we release it, thus it has a constant initial velocity "u" at t=0, Thanks for clarifying my doubt sir :-))

    great video and well explained! i guess you don't want to confuse, but i think it's worth mentioning entropy. in fact it's all about entropy. converting potential energy and dissipating means increasing total entropy. that's what nature does - always. ok, except in some ideal imaginary processes. and that's the reason why less potential energy means more stable. more microstates representing the macrostate. Just for those who wanna dig deeper.

    • @Mahesh_Shenoy
      @Mahesh_Shenoy  Год назад +3

      Great question, here's my philosophical answer.
      - Imagine playing god where you create lots of universes and experiment with 'different rules'.
      - You have universes with no charges, charges that always attract like gravity, charges that always repel, and everything else you can think
      - You then find some universes end up being boring. For examples, universes where there are no charges don't do anything interesting! So no life.
      - You eventually find the universe in which like charges that repel and unlike charges that attract end up creating some very interesting things -> atoms, molecules, chemical reactions, and eventually life, and then intelligent life that can question it's own existence!

    I've one question in my mind related to "entropy". I have learnt entropy of the universe always increases. In one of the sal's video he explains:- if entropy of some system decreases to compensate that entropy of surrounding decrease with a greater amount making ∆S(net) universe positive. `In case of adsorption of gas the entropy (system) decreases but I'm unable to find any compensating entropy(surrounding) increasing `.
    Hope you can answer that.
