"The Lost Battalion" was the 77th "Liberty" Battalion. Fast forward 30 years later, the most decorated Conscientious Objector, Desmond Doss, is part of the 77th in The Pacific.
Hey Mr Rock N Roll, awesome reaction! I am fortunate enough to have seen Sabaton live twice and have been one if not my favorite band for a while! Just wondering if you have had the time to look into the Helldivers 2 songs by Jonathan Young. Great job and good luck!
Words from the letter Cher Ami was carrying. "“We are along the road parallel to 276.4. Our own artillery is dropping a barrage directly on us. For heaven’s sake, stop it.”
Amazing thing about the song they timed the beats to match handgun, machine gun fire. Also with the BXR on the wall have you seen the video about a real firing BXR?
Hello, I am new here. Can't go wrong with Sabaton songs. Had the pleasure of seeing them live twice. Have you checked out Sabaton's song "Angels Calling" featuring Apocalyptica yet?
Bn watching your Sabaton stuff for awhile. Can't believe u missed this one. But, that's ok. The Lost Battalion is an epic American story - one that isn't taught to our American kids in school. Sabaton has given a handful of nods to the USA in WW1 & as an American, I appreciate it.
YEP - that one's truly amazing. Took me quite a while to learn what the percussion was, can't recall where I read or heard it. Maybe even another reaction! It's amazing though.
I recommend another song - Last battle. The last battle of US troops during World War 2. In the Austrian castle, Americans and Germans fought to defend French political prisoners from a German SS unit.
hello mr rock, we are your fans from Indonesia, we are waiting for your video reacting to the song from the ghost band marry on a cross concert at rite here rite now, we hope you hear our wishes from all of us in Indonesia, always be healthy mr rock. fans from Indonesia 🇮🇩
I just came from your reaction on Sabaton - Christmas Truce. And as a german living in that region i can tell: You allies brought us freedom. Let the world never forget what propaganda and politics can do to your peoples. My grandfather actually fought on both fronts in WW2 and he said he believed in his country untill H*tler went crazy and started the war. He didnt want to go to war just like normal people. He got wounded on the eastern front and got captured by the russians. He came back after many years of russian prisonship and the only thing he teached me as a child was that the war was wrong from the start. So i'll always be thankful that he got wounded and out of this war. And i'll be thankful for the freedom the allies brought me. Because he cant be thankful anymore. And i wish more germans had grandparents that didnt get brainwashed by fanatics. And sane people have responsibility. Peace.
My next sabaton recommendation is Panzer Battalion. Its about Desert Storm and the armoured divisioned who punched their way through Iraq and destroyed the Republican Guard etc

Funny you said in the beginning what you did about the percussion. It was ACTUALLY made with bayonet, handgun and machine gun sounds!

it doesn't just sound like a machine gun, the digital drums ARE gun sounds
@MrRockNRollLive now do some research on the percussion they've used to record this song.
