@@Donjuandabarber1977 - Sean Payton bailed when the team needed him the most. No QB. No OL. Wasted draft picks like Trevor Penning. Loomis screwing up the cap by overpaying players that should've been traded.Overpaying Carr. Keeping players on the roster that should've been traded. Trading players they should've kept, but they didn't want to pay. Put DA at the top of that heap and the Saints spiraled into a steaming pile of a sh*tshow.
If you didn't feel good after the Saints were 2-0 something is definitely wrong 🤷🏾♂️

Just listening to this guy (Darren Rizzi) gives me hope as a Saints fan. The disappointment is the fact that the front office waited until the season is out of reach. Especially with the Super Bowl being in your own backyard. Yeh, that part!

People shouldn't expect drastic turn around right away in terms of the on field product, remember theres been so much damage the past 3 years that will take time to clean up completely!! Hence even if we lose the next 2 or 3 games we are still headed in the right direction with the first step taken today. I'll say this though I hope they open up the offense and become more aggressive.. You say u gonna keep fighting then show it in the play calling!!

DA was a great defensive coordinator for us for many years but I believe he repeated his same faults in NOLA as he did in Oakland ! Bringing in Carr and some of the transitions from Payton to Allen just affected him . I think Allen was a good dude and that the team obviously wanted to Win for him but unfortunately they just Dont win with him as coach and we need a change ! With the Healm , Comes the wraith!
He is a great D coordinator but not a good head coach. Carr was not the issue, especially in Oakland; Carr only played a few games under Allen than.

This firing was long overdue. We initially hired a coach who had one winning season in 6 years of DA's tenure as HC. His Oakland resume should have been a red flag. Perhaps we will come stronger next season.
Nonetheless I am happy af. Just wish this happened last season.

Dennis Allen always seemed to have a defense that alternates between working and not working. I remember when the Brady Bucs and the Pack with Rodgers got held to 3 points and 0 for the Bucs once. Meanwhile in other games, the defense wasn’t working at all. Sometimes even in the same game the defense would go from working to not working. Holding the Eagles to 0 in 3 quarters is extraordinary. Then they let Saquon and a tight end get big plays on them and lost the game.

this team hasn't had a leader since sean and drew left. crazy to think that that may be all we are missing. considering the first two weeks of the season. there was NO BODY in the building able to rally the troops after we started losing. DA meetings probably got annoyingly repetitive week in week out. i like what im hearing from Rizz though.
Honestly guys, I don't know Coach Rizzi, but we don't need anymore promotions from within the organization!!! We need to go outside and find a new fresh face to come in and bring a different perspective and drive to the team once the season is over!!! Thats one of the other problems with this organization!!! I know he is going to be the interim coach for the rest of the season, but please go get another Head Coach from a different team after the season!! We need new fresh blood and new innovative ideas!!!!
