I love mine but I have M1 so this video confirmed the 2 monitor limitation :/ Thanks for confirming. I thought I was crazy testing my cables and monitors out.

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching and for your very kind comments! Currently, none of the plug-and-play USB C docking stations on the market are incompatible with the M1 Apple Mac. Because the M1 processor can only connect one external monitor to the laptop screen at a time. If you need to connect dual monitors to your M1 MacBook, it is recommended that you use a driver-based docking station on your laptop to extend the dual/triple monitor. Anyways if you haven't already please help my channel to grow by SUBSCRIBING and check out more multiple monitor setup videos:ruclips.net/p/PLa0nnyAq6qV7JhqmigqqhA7gqvlTpwCcX

It's this thing compatible with a Windows PC? Also what is the point of host 1 and host 2? It's that too hook up 2 computers? If so, how do you toggle back and forth between the 2?

Hi there! Thank you very much for your question. Unfortunately, this UDS013 dock is specially designed for MacBook and does not work with Windows PCs. It's not intended to connect two laptops simultaneously. Since macOS currently only supports SST mode, we designed the Host 1 and Host 2 ports to connect to MacBook to extend dual monitors, and there is no need to install any drivers.

I need this for a MacBook Air. Any suggestions would be helpful. I bought a Lenox Thinkpad Gen.3
that will not allow me to seat up 2 monitors.

Hello, this UDS013 dock is specially designed for MacBooks with two Thunderbolt 3 ports, including the MacBook Pro 13inch 2016-2021, MacBook Pro 14inch 2021, MacBook Pro 15inch 2016-2019, MacBook Pro 16inch 2019/2021, and the MacBook Air (Retina 13-inch) 2018-2020. Note: MacBook with M1/M2 chip only can extend one monitor due to the limitation of the M1/M2 chip; MacBooks with the M1 Pro or the M1 Max chip can extend dual monitors. Not compatible with Windows laptops, so you cannot set up 2 monitors on your Lenovo Thinkpad Gen.3. You can find a similar dock for Windows laptops at bit.ly/3VJIpfO. Hope that helps.
