Sammy doesn't wear shoes, becoz he plays bass lines with the organ/piano peddles, and they are easier to find and reach without shoes! Josh likes to feel grounded.
@@split_owl I think Josh sounds like Josh. I luv Robert Plant very much, but on his best day, he couldn't sing like Joshy. It was a different time, heavy drinking, smoking, etc. damages voice. That said, I see Steve Perry & Freddie Mercury more like Josh's voice, they took care of their instruments (voices) more appropriately. Robert Plant is and always will be a legend, though 100%
I am also a big Billy Joel fan. Have not been listening to him as much lately but yeah, spectacular on talent, performance and storytelling. I can see why you like Josh. I love when they play this song live during their tour because around the end of the song they have these beautiful rainbow lights and crowd sings along. They've been doing this way before Josh came out. So it was kind of a sweet moment the first show they did after he came out, when they played this song. A lot of people in the pit had pride flags and people in the stadium had put coloured paper over their cameras so the whole arena was light up in a rainbow light (every show they do this now). It was so beautiful and Josh got really emotional. That's definitely worth checking out, especially if you can find one that includes Josh's short speech at the end (but be prepared to cry lol) It's from Starcatcher Nashville
