I'm probably part of the minority when I say this, but I actually like the face. I think that Joker has a good face but not necessarily a great one. The pale skin and emotionless eyes make sense because Joker's design was based on a smiling skull. I like the purple suit and the green shirt. Overall, its a nice looking figure. Thanks Spot!
this has always been my favorite animated Joker design i always thought TAS Joker looked like he had a giant head and the exaggerated facial features when he was drawn not smiling made his design feel inconsistent IMO JL design fixes the consistent proportions and expressions from TAS but muted all the colors even more so than this TNBA design
I always liked this redesign but I can understand why people don’t like it I like the way they did the eyes similar to Michael Myers the Joker has the blackest eyes but I understand why people also thinks he looks like an anamaniacs character LOL
If the head was different he’d look like the real Joker from the flashback scene of Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. I wish there was a Joker Jr. figure now.
The figure is freakin' fantastic! I grew up with both TBAS and New Batman Adventures and this Joker figure is great as well, I don't know what your problem is? I don't even know why you got the figure in the first place? I love how DC Collectables made both the Batman Animated Series and New Batman Adventures figure lines and in even vehicles! I wish the company didn't go under, and continued to produce these figures...
although this figure looks great & ill no doubt pick it up, i totally agree i didnt really like the NBA Joker face design in the cartoon either. I wish they'd included the justice league head with this. Then again maybe they could do a Return of the Joker 3 pack reusing this body with 2 justice league/return of the joker flashback style heads (1 bloody faced) a future joker figure & lil JJ/Jokerized Tim Drake figure. Would go great with the Batman Beyond set.
The Animated Series Joker Better then The New Batman Adventures I wish that they put more episodes with The Riddler like what they did with the Animated series Riddler better then The New Adventure Riddler if they make a Justice League Batman and Joker I Will by it in the Future like the Batman the animated series show and Justice league I think in Justice league I Like Batman and The Joker in Justice league
I 100% agree this joker is the weakest of the new designs but I'm hoping for a justice league unlimited batman with a batman beyond return of the jedi joker swappable head for this figure!
What a world we live in, where Glen Murakami suggested to redesign the Joker and remove all the color from his face and he somehow didn't get beaten to death on the spot. The hyenas are nice, at least.
We need the JL/Return of the Joker face redesign for this Joker! When will DCC get on doing Justice League figures! They don’t even need to do Unlimited yet, just do single carded releases for the main 7 and a bunch of the villains

I agree 100%. While Season 4 of "Batman the Animated Series" had some great episodes I HATED all the character re-designs. They all looked cheap or poorly animated lacking color and detail, the worst offender being the Joker. The character designs in the first 3 seasons were so great it was a letdown to see them changed. Why change something that is already perfect? When you have it made in the shade your only job is to keep the tree from falling on you. Though even though I hate the Joker design the hyenas make the purchase of this figure more than worth it. I'll just put them with the Joker figure based on Seasons 1-3.
TheBigBadWolfO7 I think they redesigned the characters for season 4 and made they simpler looking is because they wanted more consistency with the animation, but have to agree the redesign s seem very lazy and are uninteresting, apart from scarecrow, his resign worked, riddler, joker and Catwoman.... I used to hate that head design too, but for different reason. Joker with no red lips didn't fit the character. Now, it has grown on me over the years though.
I think this figure is really good I don't like the The new batman Adventures face but I can deal with it ,what I like better than the animated series Figure is the hair because it's the curl looks better and I like the back of the hair is more pointer however the animated series joker figure is much better
Jarmo Verriet lol.. no.. no they weren't. the new adventures version of batman looks like he was fat with a huge shovel chin.. none of the character on new batman adventures were good.. batman TAS had great designs that were ruined by the new adventures designs
Adam Poole Scarecrow's design was amazing. It wasn't really a scarecrow anymore but i loved the look. TAS Batman and New Adventures Batman's chins are the same size when you compare pictures of them, and Batman looks way more powerful in the New Adventures. Robin, while younger, looks way bettter. I can't take someone who wears bright green tights seriously. The removal of the green looks way better on the New Adventures Robin.

Red hood Absolutely not. She adopted both the hyena and the big ass hammer from joker. The only prop she used in the beginning was a pop cork gun.

He doesn't stand at all on his own. Least mine won't so the base stand is needed which sucks!

the new adventures batman was equally bad.. most of the new batman adventures redesigns were awful though..
Adam Poole Robin and Batman were great, and so was Scarecrow. The rest, not so much.
