Love running outdoors but treadmills are great for accurate paced drills. Like the turbo for the bike they are a time saver to get a hard session in a short time without having the pain of getting back home.
perfect timing with this video, H. I got my first ever treadmill delivered yesterday - 7th Dec. I didnt realise how heavy or large it was going to be until it had arrived. almost 3 times my body weight. it took me a good 2 hours to drag the main part of the machine upstairs and a total of around 90 mins unpacking and setting it up. my dog seems to like it though. he stands on when it is still but as soon as it starts, he sits or lays down and slides off
Nick Owen I also have same issue. Can’t maintain same speed or duration on treadmill. I find it so boring maybe that’s why. Only thing that helps is having a window to look out of and highly motivating music but still it’s not outdoor running.
Indoor or outdoor running, which is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below 👇
It's called a dreadmill for a reason. Nothing beats the outdoors!
Outdoor, only indoor if I'm traveling and not comfortable with the area or it's too dark
Outdoor as much as possible. Indoor if pool swim and run brik session

You're the only one among all on RUclips to give a brilliant tutorial 🎉
Good job

Global XXX Network videos are always easy to understand and not too long. Keep up the good work!
Thank you. Just got gifted a treadmill. This vid was very useful for first time use.
Any chance of GTN recording a treadmill session like the lads do for GCN?
Big fan of the treadmill for workouts where I need to hold pace! Great video! 👍
They're a great tool for this type of training!
I needed this this morning!!! LOL!!!
Glad to help!
Surface/speed/incline/environment is controlled. Great way to do a tempo workout.
Love the channel. I'd like to know if you guys have any 4 week programme to start triathlon using the treadmill or something like that. Thanks :)
Hi Juan, we don't have anything like this at the moment but is definitely something we could look in to!
Thank you so much.
Awesome thank you
What are your thoughts in the woodway curved manual treadmills? Good or bad for tri training?
I'd like to see a video on calibrating treadmills. Seems like each different one I use is a slightly different speed.
Very helpful. A 10-min HIIT workout would be good.
fancy pain cave you got there :D personally I prefer outdoors but seems indoors is a bit more efficient for speed work
Great!
Thanks a lot
I don’t have a quick start botton
Thank u so much babe
Canada =treadmill
Not using a GTN bottle? WHAT IN TARNATION!
When jogging it does not show my heart rate. it say HR
HR Stands for heartrate
Get a garmin footpod!!! Yes, bin your polar 😁
Caption: Flying high on endorphins.
Turn it off , put your jacket back on . Go through door to the outside then Run 🏃♂️
It's not for everyone, but lots of people enjoy it and find using a treadmill a great training tool!
Definitely not anti treadmill. Just love running outdoors
You should try winter in the Netherlands :D
I don't mind the cold, but running in the rain isn't fun
First thing you want to do is pickup a recip. saw and remove those side rails. Much more comfortable after that.
I hate running on the dreadmill I can run much faster and for longer outside, anyone else the same?

Don’t trust the speed & distance info on a treadmill. If these metrics are important to you, buy a footpod.
Hail, sleet, freezing rain, -20C to 40 C, 40mph winds, don't care what it is, I'll be outside
Hate seeing people walk on treadmills. Especially with a huge incline and holding on for dear life. I only use the treadmills for gym work warmup
Maybe you should mind your business
