Hey man. I just want to let you know that I appreciate you. You are doing some awesome stuff here. Watching your content reminds me of "buying local". I support this channel.
There sure is a battle between the arctic cold northerly flow vs mild southern southwest flow...my goodness, let's see who wins. Love to see 4" for Tacoma!
Thank you for keeping us so informed. If I have to leave for any amount of time the first thing I do when I get home is loom for updates from you. You are the best and your reports are on point. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Thunder snow , I haven’t seen that since the east coast, now I live on the west coast. When we would get thunder snow we would get feet’s of snow. Have an awesome day
Metro Vancouver just had a 13 day streak of no rain for January. Had 15 days of no rain in 2015 during a snowless winter. Hoping everybody stays safe during that, since it is the first snowfall of the season for most places
Still reminding me of Feb 2019 where at first it didnt look like much then uptrended like crazy right at the last minute. Seems like this has the potential to be here for a while too. Here we goooo! Stock up on bananas folks 😂
Storm of the century march 1993 in central Alabama, was the most amazing thunder snow of all time. 13" in a couple hours and the sky was lit up green. Roll Tide
Things feel very cold right now. I am in the foothills outside of Sultan about 500'. When the cold air conduits get going we can be 10° colder than places like Kirkland and Redmond on the eastside. Fingers crossed for snow!!
welp, whatever we get, it'll be a nice change of pace..so appreciate your reports and updates Michael every day 😊 thank you! maybe see you on a live stream tonight! have a good day ☕
Please include central Oregon in forecasts especially considering the number of visitors we get in Sisters and Bend. We love your channel! Thanks so much for your regular breakdowns and forecasts.
I feel attacked. We have to move on Monday (facepalm). I have been wanting snow all winter but the idea of moving in Seattle during a snow storm wasn't on my bingo card. lol
@markmacintyre3422,yep wen I looked on my weather app,one of the days had this icon showing a lightning icon, saying thundersnow,I've never seen lightning during a snow storm before it's new to me,so my weather app first wen I checked it had it saying that, and checked a few minuts later and they kepted changing the info on it to just being snow and then again changed and they put sun breaks with snow,I'm bound to see wether I'll see this thundersnow if my weather app is predicting wrong since it kepted changing its info on it,cuz I saw the icon for it,🤔🙂
So...if the polar jet stream has moved north into Canada by the 8th, what is keeping the cold air in place? I thought the position of the jetstream largely determines how wintery ur climate is? Could someone please explain that?
It looks like we could some snow in central to Eastern Oregon also but you don't really mention it. I was watching the radar at about 13 1/2 to 14 minutes. Am I seeing that correctly ?
Channel 6 weather forecaster Scott duvalle here in Boise said the valley could see 6 in I think he said by the 14th of of February I don't know if I believe him or not but that's what he says he was showing snow on his computer European model in their heart they do have winter storm watches in effect for the mountains which is not really far from where I live so I might just drive up there with my truck and see some snow hidden springs bogus basin ski resort highway 55 about 12 in McCall Idaho 30 some inches of new snow that's what I thought he said
Enjoyimg your channel. I even got two co-workers to subscribe to your channel! Bonus that you're wishing for low elevation snowfall! Let's get slammed!
It's the end of the world. Give us a break. Wow, we'll probably get 1 or 2 inches. It's happened a thousand times. We've had snow in February the last three years, and believe it or not, we're all still here. Good grief, call in the anti snow gods to save us.
Micheal's excitement is palpable 😂😎🤞❄️❄️❄️
Blizzard! 😂😂 I would take a blizzard over a wicked freezing rain event any day.

Okanogan highlands Aeneas Valley, still have 8-10 inches from the first snow before Thanksgiving.
I saw one clasp of thundersnow in December of 1990. It was amazing!
I'm glad that Saturday still looks marginal (for Portland). Gotta drive back to Bend in the afternoon so hopefully no issues. 🤞
Thank you sir!
Michael: Were you here for the storm of 95-96 for that thunder snow? To get snow here to stick, we need to have a week of 20F or better……☹️

Maybe we should start calling this a Nor'Wester" ?? 😁
Thanks for the Boise shoutout!
It looks like the North Coast of Oregon is included in that western wa hit?
It looks like we could some snow in central to Eastern Oregon also but you don't really mention it. I was watching the radar at about 13 1/2 to 14 minutes. Am I seeing that correctly ?

And yet not a single day with the high at or below freezing? I would rather see no snow than snow in the 30's.
What's the Fahrenheit numbers?
Why is Kitsap in such a "snow shadow"?
Southern Oregon?🤔
