Some people think the voice is annoying and he pretends he has that tone of voice. It's his real voice, too bad indeed they take that to hate. They have really nice songs with a warm message.

C'mon they are like one of most popular rock bands today, they haver millions of views on all of their songs and tens of thousands peeps in like every of their live events, how that is underrated

Yeah they are kind of band that people love to hate but they still sell their stuff and it is fine for me (and them possilbe)
I wouldnt necessarily say they are underated. They are one of the biggest rockbands in the world and probably one of the top 3 biggest North american bands in the world. They have sold over 50 millon albums worldwide and have had almost 10 singles get into the top 10 of the billboard hot 100, and they sell out all their world tours. So they are clearly very prestigious. I would say they are probably the most undeserved hated band ever, they have so many good songs with great meaning. Most of their haters have only heard 2-3 nickelback songs and judge them purely off of those songs. If they took the time to look up some of their other songs (not just singles) they would see they are nowhere near as bad as they thought and they may even begin to like them.
This is Nickelback? Why do I hear people make fun of their music, did they change at some point after this? This is pretty nice actually.

Demon Rantz I love both of those songs. In Rockstar, they bleep out the word drug and yet there are worse words on the radio. Another awesome thing is that they're music videos and/or songs tell an emotional story with real meaning. The junk on the radio might be a story, but there's better ways of telling stories.

patu8010 Most of the haters didn't actualy listen to atleast 2 NB songs. It became a band wagon situation where 1 asshole told 1 guy that they automaticly sucked, which increased the hater count. But at the same time, some people who were told that, actualy gave them a try, and fell in love with the music and became actual fans. You can realy see the NB haters try their hardest to "prove" they suck by stating "true facts". They didn't even try to hear atleast 2 songs. There is no valid reason to hate NB, sure you don't have to like their music or be a fan; because its not your type of music; but, again, there is no actual reason. Hating on Justin Bieber, though, is acceptable. Why? Not because you don't like his music, which i don't and therefore im not a fan, but because its the things he does in real life. Just search up some videos on YT explaing some crimes he had done. He HAS the right to be hated, not NB where they haven't done ANYTHING againts you, or anyone else.
Aslong as you gave them a try, listen to a few songs, then you're free to decide. You don't even need to like them, buy you game them a try.
There was also a Kickstarted page where some asshole wanted to get NB banned from London. You could tell he was just sad while reading his reasons. NB took it as hilarious; which i did aswell. Because of this, NB only gets more attention, which is the haters own fault (which they won't admit).
I've always liked NB, and I can't wait for the next album in november :D
