yes same!! i’m a pretty new freeway driver and i’m going tomorrow so i’m a little nervous, especially since i heard there’s a lot of construction right now. how was the drive for you?
@ 1:29 the Be Someone "sign." One of my first memories of Houston in 1979 was the construction work on the Gulf Freeway Southbound by Scarsdale. It seems like that freeway has always been under construction in some way. It used to be 3 lanes and now in some parts it's 5/6 lanes.
How can a city extend out to Huntsville then Galveston then way past sealy dam near connected to Beaumont then Wharton to Cleveland to Montgomery to angleton Freeport how the f lanes 4 lanes or more out to these places this city is overly huge to fucking massive

I’m trying to overcome my driving anxiety and this is so incredibly helpful! Thank you!! Also, love that you stopped at Buccees. 😂
Good luck! Just take it one step at a time and don’t let the bad drivers get to you.

2 years ago, the sign had become political. Mainly "war and peace."
Back in the Day, the Gulf Freeway opened in 1948 and was u.s.75. Locals say it was the first freeway in Texas
It is also the first and one of the few Interstate Freeways to be totally inside one state.
