We have been coming to JErsey since 1990 for the first country music festival at the Merton. We have stayed there about the last 20 years and think it is the best place we have stayed at on the island.
@Travel with Jonny and Will I last stayed in this hotel back 2004 I have not been back since then , I am thinking of returning with my 3 year old daughter in September from your video hotel has been refurbished since 2004 especially buffet restaurant more modern looking, is the crèche next to buffet restaurant still accessible via the buffet restaurant? have you been before? it was a great hotel back in 2004 as a teenager would you recommend it especially for a 3 year old?
This was our first visit to Jersey but we definitely would like to visit again. The crèche is accessible from the buffet restaurant but was closed when we visited.
We were about 6 miles away from the airport. You could get a taxi from airport to the hotel or you could get a bus from airport to St Helier and then it would be a short walk from there. Thanks for watching
My Son and I stayed here in 2018 and loved it so much that we returned in 2020. Many of the staff speak Swahili, which we love. I have never seen a breakfast room so well organised. ( When I stayed in the Holiday Inn in Ipswitch last year, my comment was, they need to check out the Merton for service). I can not recommend this hotel highly enough. Pity your Video shows so many overweight people; this was not our experience.

how far was you from the airport and is the buses that you can take your own two places or do you need a car thanks
