Conclusion: When a person applies ash, or tilak on forehead, our mind keeps its focus on it throughout the day. Due to which we receive the outer world from the organs which are more capable ( ie chitt or mind). But generally people see other beings as sexy, beautiful, ugly, poor, rich and ignore the soul or attaman that is common in all beings. Also the way we behave, the way we dress, the way we talk, the way we shop, seems like we are an immortal being and therefore ignore the truth, the one and only, MORTALITY.

one he mentioned cow dung ( cow's poop, dried, burnt..and the final ash.... second he said something like rice brown...(not sure) .... third is Sesame seed's ash

For eg. Waves are temporary forms but water is it's tatva that exists eternally even after that wave or form dies. water also has its own shakti energy to create tsunami, tornado, floods or little waves on the beach.
