Hello Joe. Thanks for all great videos you create. Have learned a lot and improved my skills while restoring my machines. Regarding the Motordome (6893 2nd gen) I just got one, and its not registering high scores. When I finished the game, the score is there. Power off/on, it resets to 0. I already did a facory reset (using the 65). Machine has a lithium battery, and keeps all other settings when powered off. Do you have any suggestion?
SPOILER ALERT - Joe manages to creep the ball half way round the Big Shot , ONCE only, then misses the second half of the shot. Me thinks he should have played it for a few more hours, then sneakily edited in a few Big Shots as he refuses to Todd-Cheat by taking the glass off.
Ok this sounds so much like Strange Science it is scary. The background sound revs up more with more bumper action. Just like Strange Science. Weird. I mean Strange.
ok great to know! I have a opportunity to buy both and wasn't sure if motor dome would be better because it's a bit newer... thanks for the reply and keep up the great videos!
Those lights are pretty extreme Someone who has epilepsy could be triggered into a seizure by seeing them. On TV they stopped having anything like this
@@LyonsArcade It has a single gimock of a flipper on a ramp. It may have looked tricky on paper, but it's an easy skill shot. The machine rotated out of the University arcade really fast. That never happened to popular pingers.
The sound on that game is death.
You're saying a sound can kill you, imagine if somebody tried to mug you in a parking lot
I love it. My kind of sound.
Nice

So Strange. Strange Science that is. Also 1986. Also Bally.
Atleast Williams still put their cash on good cab art in '86, my Grand Lizard is the proof.
Yes... Bally soon went back to putting decent art on them too a year or two later...

Todd's earned the right to Todd-Cheat from his many years in the business being awesome
“Dome Master” 😂😂😂😂😂

Hey Joe. In your opinion what pin is better, Motor dome or Flight 2000?
Flight 2000 is much better. It's a really solid game, Motor Dome is fun too but nowhere near the level of Flight 2000.
ok great to know! I have a opportunity to buy both and wasn't sure if motor dome would be better because it's a bit newer... thanks for the reply and keep up the great videos!
Thanks man, more videos coming all the time!
For demo purposes... take the glass off and show us the big ramp!

In 1986 we didn’t know what that was
I played it in the day. I don't care how you try to hype it; it wasn't good.
You think so?
