    One additional benefit to the wifi antenna vs the one for the Pi is that you can run this in metal cases without massively degrading the wifi signal. That can be important if you want to use a metal case for passive cooling to improve performance and you want to use wifi. This can be useful for klipper and server farms as well since you can put this internal to the 3D printer and still have the wifi be usable. Overall it's a thoughtful addition.

    Thank you very much for the review... I bought this board to try it out but I still have doubts about the canbus... according to what I saw, it takes away usb ports that you know about this topic... I would appreciate some information since I haven't found much

      Sorry, I've never experienced that. If it has never connected then I would recommend to double check that you have the correct WiFi SSID and password. If it has connected and randomly does this then it seems like something isn't working correctly. You can try to update with,
      sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y

    I have a question, when flashing from raspberry pi imager what board should I chose?

    • @StackingLayers
      @StackingLayers  7 месяцев назад

      None, the board options are for raspberry pi boards.

    I have no idea why you have so little subscribers, the information on this and the canbus video is brilliant. I am a complete noob when it comes these btt pi’s and klipper. Is there something I need to do to run more then one Logitech c270 at once. I have tried the second and third camera in different ports etc, but 2 won’t work at once.
    Oh and that case is great I am going to buy it now 👍🇦🇺😊

      The 2 camera thing is a bit weird and I have the same trouble with a raspberry pi. If you haven't done it yet you'll need to set the second camera [cam 2] with port: 8081 and the device: with something like /dev/video2 or /dev/video3, you can also instead use the device id found with,
      ls /dev/v4l/by-id/*
      But I've still had an issue with only one camera showing. I think it could be network speed causing it because I've seen others say it starts working with the Ethernet cable used instead of wifi.

    When did you make that video?
    The stock is full pretty everywhere for pi4
    Only the price went about 10€ higher than before the shortage with 73€ for a 4GB version. (Way too high)
    But good to know that there are alternatives! Only the 1GB ram isn't much for media center and some other stuff. Same with 100mbit eth, this should be upgraded.
    You've deserved my sub!

      Yeah the stocks are finally starting to build up luckily. Still near impossible to get in my area and there's no way I'll support the scalpers.
      Thanks for the sub!😊

    What does this Pi actually do? It seems to me that all it does is install Klipper firmware to your printers main board? Isn’t there other ways to install the firmware. If it replaces a Raspberry Pi then does it run Octoprint because that’s all I ever used my Pi for as my Ender installs firmware directly from MicroSD? Is it an alternative to Octoprint?

    • @StackingLayers
      @StackingLayers  Год назад

      It's a full Linux computer just like a raspberry pi is. It can run Octoprint, but It is not exclusive to 3d printing. It's an alternative option to raspberry pi.
