    Sounds very much like John Glover.. Was around as early as 1966

    Still in the pre-colour era! "...in two or three weeks' time" - well, there's precision scheduling for you!! Any idea why the schedule had to be changed at the last minute here? Industrial action, a technical fault?

      Coverage of the Budget that day overran, so BBC-1 slotted in an unscheduled segment of "When Comedy Was King" before getting back on track with Z-Cars at 7.05pm
