One of the reasons I believe in the gap theory is Gen 1:1 says God created and it was "good".. that to me can only mean it was perfect.. So when Second and third vs says it was dark and needed to be re-created says to me God destroyed what God previously did good ( world of angels and Satan's power grab) was now re-created and at each step of the way God made it "Gòd" again, and added Adam ( mankind) both male and female in His own image!!! And it was Good Good. We're in the 6th day from the Fall.. hope to see Jesus soon.
