Running backs are David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. Goff has a ton of choices. There is no freaking weakness. Now they have left tackle Taylor Decker coming back and three defensive line starters coming back after missing last week. Josh Allen will need two capes! The Bills will put up a fight so this should be a great game.

The Bills defensive line has been mediocre for 5 years and people blamed Josh for all the playoff losses yet the defense gave up 35 points in those playoff losses.
The defense can't get themselves off the field unless they get a turnover. At best they usually do is let the opponent drive down the field and hold them to a field goal attempt.

It just doesn't work against the top tier offenses/teams, as evidenced by playoffs and their road losses in the past two seasons (Eagles game). I put Miami in a different category altogether cause Josh owns them. I hope they prove me wrong against Detroit. Goff is more prone to turnovers so maybe that will be the difference. It could also be a game that Josh tries too hard and is inconsistent (see Houston game).

To your point though, a coach like Belichick would come up with different wrinkles each week. Babich needs to be better. They are terrible at blitzing right now.

Why can’t they engineer a lightweight elegant a titanium knee brace that allows mobility in only one direction, that all NFL players are required to wear? The NFL could certainly afford it. It would probably cost less than a standard NFL helmet.
