It does not have auto hold feature but it does have hill-assist, which if I am not mistaken will hold your car for up to 3/4 seconds and help you move from standstill on hills.
Thanks for feedback 👍🙏 i will try to get an meter 👍 i will check to see what i can do but even so will be relative because depending on on many factors like tires, wind, road type and quality
@@SDADanCars yes for sure is depending on many factors as you mention above but I believe it can be a nice bonus on your reviews . I think a lot buyers with families searching for a quiet cabin will appreciate this
It's 36k but swiss franks not euros so it's even more expensive! over 37k euro if I am correct. I live in central/estern europe and for 34k euro you can buy new vw tiguan 2024 special edition, 4 cyl. 1.5 etsi 130 hp or 150 hp (for extra 1900 euro). I even checked scala price same engine selection edition starts at 24k euro. Swiss is just expensive country to buy a car not car itself is so expensive imho.
@@ssdivizionBMW serie 1 is 3 cylinders for 45k😂😂 you guys are too caught up on numbers, Even Toyota and Lexus use 3 cylinders, if well engineered they can last even more than 4 cylinders, and they are more nervous in acceleration from 0kmh, go buy Dacia Sanderos if you want cheap cars or buy used cars, new cars are all expensive no matter the engine stop crying and earn more money
Nice car, but not with that engine. When you drive 3 adults, you don't even need hills, it's enough that autobahn goes a bit up for some time, you'll need to downshift and hold that throttle pedal with 'beautiful' 3cy vrrRRRMMmmm :D 1.5 4cy is the only petrol option. Also it's priced a bit too close to Octavia but then again if you don't need that boot space and want to save a little bit, it's a nice option.
This gear knob is horrible! Skoda engineers just took it from the manual transmission and put it on the DSG for cost savings. In Peugeot and VW it's just a button. This thing in Skoda is so big it obstructs your hand from operating the climate control.

Yes every dsg Skoda cars have it from default, same on my Fabia!
Hallo Dan vom Zurich . love your reviews. can you also incude decibel measurement in your videos? for example when driving steadily at 90 km . Thanks

@@SDADanCars I would love that too - especially noiselevel at autobahnspeed 100 and 130 km/h
Shame the display doesn’t show which gear you are in as with my current 2023 Superb but having nav available on both screens is an improvement
Actually it does. You can see it most of the time in this video.
Awesome videos Dan but try to pronounce "IS" instead of "IT'S" when you only use the verb, that is really confusing 😆
😁👍 i try next time …
I hate electronic brake. Prefer manual handbrake.
what is new?
Thanks for the video. I now know the weight of the Selection is 1273kg. Can you tell me the max permissible weight of car?
Thanks 🙏 try to search on autodata .com you will find there all infos 👍
36.000 euros for 1 liter 3 cylinder petrol engine?!
Are you serious?

The Ford Focus is a 1 liter 3 cylinder but drives amazingly, if it's engineered right it's not a big deal.

8 months after the comment and i took it for 23k Euro. 1.5 TSI, 150hp, 7DSG.
I won the bet against myself saying that you'll review the damn 1l version. Well, you blew my enthusiasm about this car. Have my thumb pointed down.
It must have been hard to not criticize those suspension noises... Your "pretty pretttyy good" comments were funny man 😂

Why did they bother putting a steering wheel in the first place?
Because it is a car? Maybe?
they should go back to tank manufacturing
👏
See you have inconsiderate drivers who do not use their mirrors too same as in the UK😢
