Honestly surprised to see Necro scoring faster than daze in SJ dungeons. I would have expected the opposite. I'd say each mount has its own pros and cons like you mentioned in the video. Dazemu decelerates off of dirt REALLY fast, though you can carry your momentum a long way over non-dirt with the floaty jump. I don't use mine outside of SJ dungeons as in the overworld Jet is just superior and there isn't enough dirt/sand in other dungeons to justify it. I've never been a fan of Necro, but the stats don't lie. Catching and Breeding for one is a pain, especially now that its 55, but it fits the bill as an endgame mount to work towards. Personally I'm a huge fan of Fenglope. The sprint is really useful for acceleration and/or short runs between objectives and its got the most verticality of any of the ground mounts. During the midgame its generally faster to ride on feng than trying to traverse with the low stam Beakon/Ragna or the slower flying mounts before that. The script flips with 38 and Faleris, but from 26 to 38 is a big chunk of progression. Just of note, Feng has a really high BP (980) so it can be bred for right at 19, also the Alpha Feng is available behind the waterfall at 24.
I'm a weirdo who actually likes wandering the dungeons, so I normally just use Chillet or a hookshot. Kind of wish there was a bit more randomness to the dungeon layouts instead of just the 3 presets to every dungeon type.
Wait, Necromus fits? Does he fit through all the passageways in the old dungeons too? I might have to abandon my plans to remake my Fenglope on my new save and go for a Necromus instead.

Fun fact: an alpha necromus can also fit through every gap in the sakurajima dungeons.
And Alphas get Sprintboni which make them even faster :D

I use rayhound for my dungeon speedruns. i think he's just neat. :)
Same here, my first Rayhound had Swift before i even knew it mattered, i find it to be more useful than Dazemu.
What about frostallion? Crafted Legend, Infinite Stamina, Runner, Swift and till day im clearing with him dungeons
If it fits (I don't have a speedy one so not tested) it should be very good, a little slower than Necromus but faster than Fenglope.
