I think if a guy commits to a minimum of 5 minutes a day is of great value because the 5 minute session usually turns, naturally, into 10, 20 or more. And, if you are enjoying yourself, an hour can go by real fast.
For me I don't have to enjoy myself, sometimes when I am frustrated at my dogshit playing an hour can go by playing the damn thing that didn't want to pull off and then finally it cames out haha

I love Dan's abilities not only is he my favorite Bass player ever and I'm 64 years old growing up with Led Zep n Ol school Motown plus my brother has played Bass with Bo Diddly n Buddy Miles and Buddy Guy etc for over 50 years he's played Bass. I recommend practicing while your on the Toilet if you’ve only got 5 minutes 🤩 must sanitize instrument afterwards but some of my best work has come from my toilet sessions 🤘

I find being really clear about that helps to define your goals and what you want out of bass playing. It’s quite deep but it does help!
