- Shirou Emiya (衛宮 士郎, Emiya Shirō) is the main protagonist of Fate/stay night, a teenage Japanese Magus who acts as the Master of Saber during the Fifth Holy Grail War. He is the adopted son of Kiritsugu Emiya, the adopted brother of Illyasviel Von Einzbern, and the younger self of EMIYA.
In each of the three routes of Fate/stay night (Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel), he interacts with and develops a romantic relationship with a particular girl.
Fate is one of the routes in Fate/stay night.
The main heroine and love interest of this route is Saber. She also serves as the servant protagonist of the route as well. Fate is the first route the player will be able to play through in Fate/stay night, and completing it is required to access other two routes, Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel.
The route emphasizes plot and world building, and the main theme is "oneself as an ideal".

I love this version so much, the Realta Nua Version of EMIYA was so crazy to listen to for the first time after playing the old VN first.
I don't like the voice it's too... Holy? Angelical? In my opinion, it has to be more gritty omnimus, the theme in the original VN never represented victory, it represented Shirou giving it his all and failing and only succeeding thanks to the help of other, because he is not capable enough yet. It's why the OG theme, it's so strong and gritty, that's at less the feeling i got, the rest... Well i think it's more techno, which is not a wrong choice, but it's more of a more happy pop side rather then tense and hopeful. Seriously if the Remaster of the VN comes with the OG soundtrack give it a go to both versions, i will too, but i think i will prefer the OG version still, because the OG feeling was false hope and strong determination.
There is nothing that says a copy can't surpass the original, but that is the case for ataraxia or for the deen route emiya, or crow's claw, I don't think this is good from the first time I heard, the original just makes the other ones look like zashu

Man. Fuck FGO, Strange Fake and all that weird shit. Back to basics and hopefully it ends there. Fate is done and it would do justice to the franchise. I hope the remaster will have that eerie mood that Fate used to have, it felt truly special reading through it. Would be awesome to see if the newer fans could experience it too

I thought 100% They going to make a remaster make fate stay night like UBW or heavens field like the animation I was so excited I thought now we’re going to get more episodes and explain and make more longer episodes and we finally get to see shirou how he enters in Avalon and there he sees our artoria again fate stay night it’s my favourite ending of one of the three and I was so disappointed, but seriously what the hell they’re doing a remaster for the Nintendo switch seriously what the hell I am very very disappointed 😔

I will say proudly and boldly that Heaven's Feel is PEAK F/SN, UBW is peak GARcher, and FATE is generic AF. Its that generic that they didn't bother trying to TOP the GOATed Deen Adaptation, hope they announced Hollow aterxia adaptation because frankly its more worth it.
Unless F/SN gets a remake that expand the routes then just don't bother BUT if they really, REALLY NEED to adopt it then please be an adaptation of the (scrapped) Normal ending.
