Good question. To be honest, it shouldn't affect people who are emailing responsibly, with high value emails to the right audience. If you keep spam complaints down and make sure you're using a decent mailer like mailgun, with correct links and you're allowing people to optin and subscribe, you should be ok
It can do, but not always. Only a small fraction of our emails end up in spam. It's important to have good reputation with email providers, adhere to spam policies and have your server records up to date.
