Aaron's Quick Licks #1 - Major Scale Ideas

This is a brand new series I'll be doing on my channel called "Aaron's Quick Licks" and will benefit those of you guitarists out there hungry for some knowledge. What I'll be doing is taking some musical ideas, concepts and devices I've learned over the years and show them to you in a short and sweet lesson.
This quick licks lesson #1 will give you some ideas you can use to practice the G major scale so it doesn't sound boring. I show you 2, 3, and 4 note interval ideas, going up in 3rds and playing a random note in the scale on any string. Each one of these ideas will surely give that boring old major scale some spice and sound a lot more musical.
Make sure you take your time and work though these ideas. Once you have them under your thumb you'll find that going through the major scale will start to sound more like you're playing music!
