Im just gonna say, Eren in fact did NOT want anyone to die because there were multiple instances where he tried to figure out a different future, aka last episode where Eren showed Mikasa a different timeline where they could have lived out their lives together, but in that world titans still existed and the people of paradis were still in danger, he saw this as the best option to keep the people of paradis safe and allow most of his freinds to live long happy lives without the threat of titans hanging over their heads, also he already knew this was the ultimate future and could nothing to stop it, why he laughed when he heard Sasha’s last words because he had already seen that from his future memories along with some other instances.
Eren killed Sasha, Hange, Floch, and the other comrades. The island didn’t really matter to him; he just wanted to level everything, as though he were being controlled by something. The future was decided from the moment he was born into this world. Eren had no free will. He was the most unfree, unspecial, and idiot protagonist in the Anime history, and he was finally free only when he died.
Shingeki no Kyojin (The Attack Titan) kept moving forward toward a predetermined future, seeking freedom, yet it was the most unfree Titan. It was like a puppet trapped in a birdcage. Just a slave to freedom.
Everyone saying rumbling isn't the way or best decision if you are capable knowing the future or like eren said while he was talking to armin he's trying or do something without using rumbling
