Thank you! I built your old kelp/bonemeal farm but it never worked due to the recent updates. Had to test them out on creative first to avoid frustration because the last time I had to collect all the items only for the farm to not work. This works perfectly!
IF YOUR FARM BREAKS EITHER THE SAND OR THE KELP, CHANGE THE NORMAL PISTON FACING UPWARDS TO A STICKT PISTON AND PUT A PIECE OF SAND ON TOP, THIS FIXED IT FOR ME. MAKE SURE THE REDSTONE TICKS IS THE SAME AS IN THE VIDEO. HOPE SOMEONE FINDS IT HELPFUL. THANKS TO THE DUDE WHO MENTIONED MOVING DOWN THE PISTON BUT MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE IT TO STICKY OTHERWISE IT WONT WORK
The bottom sand block might be picked randomly by one of the 2 sticky pistons. To fix that place the bottom sticky piston 1 block lower and put a 3rd sand block to not trigger the random priority on only 1 sand block for 2 sticky. Place the lower redstone circuit the same and that should fix the sand block priority. The original setup didn't work for me, but the added sandblock lower by 1 fixed it :D Thank you for the awesome video.
thanks. Slight tweak I made to make it do mulitple kelps, and hooked it up to smokers and autocrafters for my kelp blocks, just like I had before they flipping broke it, lol
@dylandaniels4003 under the chest that collects kelp put a hopper to a smoker. If you really want to go all out put another hopper on the side of the smoker for kelp blocks then under the smoker another hopper into a craft block. Build a repeater then have the craft block shoot into another hopper that will go into a minecart that brings the kelp blocks to the side chest on the smoker.
@bluepand3217 haha, I had to read your comment about 10x to make sense of it (not a criticism, by the way, just my brain trying to process and make sense of it lol). By craft block, do you mean the new autocrafter? (I've only recently got back into MC so I'm yet to dabble with that new feature)
@Rodj71 Are you willing to share what tweaks you made to expand it and hook it up to a smelter. And is it possible to make this farm dual-purpose so that it does both smelting & bonemeal?

Is it possible to extend this farm to do more then 1 at a time?
Thank u so much
Can you do a larger version? For example 5 planted kelps?
Checkout Theysix's version. Tested up to eight wide
For years I can always depend on JC farms !!
I’m on the Xbox and had to click the repeaters twice in order for tik to work. Hope this helps
I added some hoppers going into smokers on the bottom. Then some more hoppers going into another chest. BOOM unlimited dried kelp for fuel
Is there a way to expand this farm? Every time i try, my sand just falls through.
I built your other one and the update happened the day after I built it🤦🏽♂️ I rebuilt a moss stone bone meal farm, but I may try this design with the composter or smelters on the bottom.
