This has been one of my favorite songs since I first listened to it 6 years ago, and recently, I've been listening to it a lot more, it has a very uplifting tone, but the tempo, rythm and melody somehow make it sound so sad, and I've been crying sometimes when I listen to it, but I always end up with a smile on my face. this song and the picture chosen for it is so great because this song is literally like the embodiment of nostalgia and carefree innocence and the picture chosen i feel really captures that feeling of when you were younger and just had nothing to worry about at all; just 3 dudes chilling with no care in the world
It is incredibly sad that only one of these dudes remain in this project as of today. The guys in the middle and right (Robin and Sebastian) have moved on while the guy on the left (Erik) still makes this project live on, with Robin traveling around the world and Sebastian likely took an indefinite hiatus from music making. But yeah you’re right, back then it looked like they were so carefree. I wish I could go back to these days. In his lyrics for his song Powerplay with Pegboard Nerds, it describes Erik along with PBN as 3 mercs who couldn’t care less about the rules, but if all members of Bossfight stayed, then it would’ve been 5.
I keep coming every year, every month, this song was one of the most melodic thing I've ever listened to while playing and discovering music like this, it felt happy and so sad at the same time and the last part hit so hard into my mind. It became a huge part of me since my adolescense and it helped me feel good on very hard or lonely times. Now that everything is ok I keep listening to it, because I love it. I would have come for GD... BUUUUUUUUT I played Open Hexagon before GD, like before the end of 2014 (when I got GD), and then I found those songs in the files. I just took one random (Milky Ways) and from that moment on Bossfight became my idol.

One group that I like alot is Dunderpatrullen. They have a more simple, nostalgic style then Bossfight, but they are a great band that I would reccomend. You might also want to check out Rymdkraft if your looking for more of a faced pace, upbeat type of sound. I'm not sure if these artists have youtube channels, but they do have Soundcloud pages if you wanna check them out there.
This is that kind of song that you may not like that much at the beginning, but then you remember and enjoy it for the rest of your life... So emotional, so strong and unique! Bravo❤❤❤😍😍😍😭😭😭
It's amazing that they managed to make such a sad yet cheerful music at the same time without any lyrics I mean art is subjective, but to create emotions with music like that, it's really impressive, usually you get complex emotions like this with more picturish arts like books, films, etc This is really cool

It's hard to believe this is from 2012. I remember listening to it almost every day back in maybe 2013, and it randomly popped up in my recommended section again. I had forgotten about it, but god the nostalgia is intense. The recommendation system works in strange ways, and I'm so glad it does.

This is my favorite of Boss Fight HUGE list of songs. I always thought of Mr. Gawne as business overlord in a steampunk world who doesn't care about anyone and your mission is to stop Mr. Gawne and his corrupt business and this is the final boss theme while you fight Mr. Gawne in his huge mech!
