Love your reaction! She is definitely the definition of versatility, you shoull react more of her songs, if you want heavy songs you should check: Say Cheese, CUE, Spit (it's actually a cover), or if you want more experimental songs you should check: Zig, Sit/Stay, Pocket, etc. She recently released a song with Bad Omens and it's so freaking good, it's called V.A.N.
she definitely gained more fans when she started doing heavy music. you guys should do an actual metal song hy her. try "Spit" or "Concrete" which mixes both bubblegum and metal.
Bloodmoney is metal, it's Industrial Metal.
@@DefyReality-ll2cg i personally label it as just industrial. but you do you.
poppy changes her looks as often as she changed genres.. shes a woman of many faces❤
The thing with her earlier pop music is that it went along with her RUclips channel where she'd post strange, uncanny valley performance art videos and satire on the music industry. Her entire persona was that of an AI robot being programmed to become a pop star. She has pretty much stopped with all that now since leaving her abusive ex-bf (who was also her collaborator/manager), and now she's just focused on being a serious musician, although she still kind of uses that robotic persona occasionally in interviews... probably as a way to avoid having to answer any questions that are too personal and to keep some mystery about her (which is cool because we don't have many artists like that nowadays with everyone posting personal things all over social media). If you want to hear some proper metal from her check out Spit, Say Cheese and Suffocate (her recent feature with Knocked Loose). She's full-on screaming in those! Other cool songs that dabble in various genres (industrial, grunge, punk-pop, dark electronica): Anything Like Me, Her, Stagger, So Mean, Knockoff.
Poppy spent the first 10 years of her career under terrible management that forced her to do a lot of things she hated. once she broke from them, she went full on metal/industrial, and she has been fully embraced by the community.
check out the video for I Disagree if you want to see her feelings on her previous management company.
Y’all need to react to her songs Say cheese or V.A.N(with bad omens)
Please react to more Poppy! ❤🎉
