    I understand there's an upcoming DPU with embedded GPU from NVIDIA - do you think that's why AMD have acquired Xilinx and Pensando so they too can have a full range of GPUs, DPUs and FPGAs and have the opportunity to merge / mix the technologies for the datacentre?

      You're right, NVIDIA is now offering DPUs with embedded GPUs, you can read about them here www.nvidia.com/en-gb/data-center/products/converged-accelerator/
      There's definitely something to be said for AMD wanting to have a complete portfolio of datacentre devices as after years of everything being CPU-centric, things are moving increasingly towards purpose-built accelerators for specific workloads, be that GPUs, DPUs or FPGAs. - JG
