I am one of her 0.005 top listeners on Spotify. My most listened to artist for 5 years straight. I just saw she comes to my town. I thought I will have to hear another live performance from her after 5 years of staying clear, maybe they got better at playing all this amazing music live. I can't understand how this is even possible. 😢😢😢
I think the vocal shaking/warbling is an interesting and unique feature of her voice that doesn't come through in the studio recordings. I can see how it would catch some people off guard during a live performance, but it works for me.
I think that the shakiness in her singing is because she's high on something. Ive heard an interview with her where she had that same thing going on with her voice. Does anyone agree? I have to say that she sounds great on recordings and she's a great song writer.
Other than Soft Like a Flower this was a great performance. No bad can be really good every time. I have seen them 13 times and love every second of it. Clem is great.
I love their music and they seem like sound people. I think it’s nerves affecting her singing. Real shame because she’s an absolutely effing brilliant guitarist and songwriter (and in the studio her vocals are 👌). I think she could go one of two ways with this: develop larger-than-life confidence onstage (like, so she’s playing the part of someone with more confidence rather than vulnerably putting her actual self out there) or literally have her backing singer double up her vocals, to take the pressure off and go with that full-blown “studio project” recreation onstage.
1) i loved it 2) i am literally the smartest person alive therefore, it is good. if you didn't like it, you're literally disagreeing with the smartest person alive ok
The thing is, shes great but CLEARLY someone at the station doesn't have any clue of mixing\eq her voice.. this is a production insult to her great talent..
she kinda always sounds like this live... i think the best live performance i've seen from her in terms of vocals was the jam in the van one, and the last kexp maybe
@@amandeczka true. it seems sometimes our girl is having a rough time and her singing skills decline, but as a musician I can tell you thats a poor mixing and a bad eq hands down :/
I'd rather stick to the version she simply can't sing well. I even suppose that she makes reposts in instagram stories solely of photos and not her performing live for a reason

Her voice has always been kind of bad, not even in the studio versions is good, but that's the fun part, she's a great lyricist.
Good song excellent❤

im a fan of her band but this was terrible
i feel like its the mixing honestly
Trust me its not the mixing. I love the band but they're just not good performing live
@@anorawxia Their performance on WXPN (posted 4/17/24) was decent. Definitely lots of hit or miss performances, though

Pretty awful live
They make great albums but unfortunately after seeing them live afew times it’s apparent that clem just can’t sing live
I somehow have never watched a live performance by her--have tickets tonight and now . . . um . . . kind of wondering
@@evanskikehow was it?

Clem's voice got blocked by herself everytime she goes live. Must be such a struggle for such a talent performer.
Nice caterwauling

That's a shame.
