on the videos side they are pretty much the same but the xiaomi 14 got a 4k so that's really nice, on the photography side the xiaomi 14 has a better selfie, slightly more shaper, better details and night zoom capabilities
overall the 14 is better tho the 13 pro isn't far behind

Very good content. I really like the "raw" content... it helps to get a better idea. I really like the comparisons, as I can better figure out if a certain "look" is due to the ambient lightning or the benefit/fault of the phone. I would love to see, from time to time, a comparison between a mid-ranger and a not-so-expensive top phone (e.g. Redmi Note 13 PRO+ (plus) versus Xiaomi 13/Xiaomi 14). Sometimes... these phones tend to be so close. Sure... you won't be able to switch lenses on the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, but the photo quality is quite good, especially in low light and even dificult light. Do you think there is any benefit, for you, in doing such a comparison from time to time?
I don't think so. But let's see. All depends on funds I have to get the phones.

Hmmz both fine, I would probably go with 13 ultra for photos, but both not amazing on selfie camera - buuuut probably good enough ayway . Not sure if I would agree that main camera of 14 is better than 13 ultra especially those night shots with washed out colors.
Hey! Great comparision video! Did you also get an impression of the shutter speed? Do moving objects look sharp with the camera or do they look blurry? I'm asking especially because I want to take better pictures of my son in the future than I'm able to do right now with my 5 year old Huawei Smartphone :)

The quickshot mode is for that. Honestly for kids and theor fast movements even better might be the Oppo Find X7 Ultra.
Normal photo mode can be blurred if not enough light on all cameras though. So larger cameras or DSLMs might be the better choice if you photograph a lot indoors or not so bright conditions. Otherwise use the quickshot mode on Xiaomi or sports mode on Oppo as the normal modes are slower

Aktuell habe ich ein Xiaomi 13 und bin etwas unzufrieden mit der Kameraperformance in Innenräumen bei sich bewegenden "Objekten" (spielende Kinder und Haustiere). Ich hätte die Möglichkeit günstig an ein iPhone 15 Pro Max zu kommen oder aber noch ein paar Monate zu warten und dann auf ein Xiaomi 14 (Pro) upzugraden. Welches dieser Smartphones würdest du persönlich für den Anwendungsfall (bewegende Objekte in Innenräumen) bevorzugen?
Btw. habe ich ebenfalls die Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro und bin ziemlich happy damit. Wie findest du die?
Danke für deine Videos! Du triffst mit deiner Geräteauswahl und mit deinen Vergleichsmethoden genau meinen Geschmack!
Ganz ehrlich die bester Erfahrung die ich bisher für deinen Anwendungsfall gemacht habe ist das Sony Xpera 1 V. Das bearbeitet nicht soviel nach und kommt einer richtigen Kamera am nächsten. Zusammen mit dem Super Augenautofokus hast du immer schnelle und scharfe Fotos. Leider klappt das wenn es Innen zu dunkel ist bei allen Smartphones eher schlechter. Beim Xperia müsste man dann zum S Modus wechseln. Anders als bei vielen anderen Smartphones und deren Pro Modus, wird hier dann auch wenn man eine Belichtungszeit eingestellt hat auch wirklich ein Foto geschossen. Das kann wenn es ganz dunkel ist auch mal rauschen, aber zumindest ist es scharf.
Ansonsten kommt es natürlich auch immer auf das Objektiv an was du nutzen willst. Also den Hauptsensor (23 bzw. 24mm) oder eher den Tele?
Falls es Situationsabhängig ist, dann würde ich das Oppo Find X6 Pro empfehlen (ja muss man importieren), da es 3 große Sensoren besitzt und die Auslöseverzögerung auch ziemlich gering ist.
Das Xiaomi 14 zu guter letzt bietet auf der Hauptkamera auch eine gute Auslöseverzögerung, nur kämpft es etwas früher mit Rauschen in dunklen Verhältnissen, was mal dazu führt, dass es eine längere Verschlusszeit wählt. als die anderen zwei.
Hoffe das hilft dir weiter. Wenn es um Xiaomi geht würde ich aktuell eher zum normalen 14er greifen, da es Kameratechnisch bessere Ergebnisse liefert.
Ganz zum Schluß noch meine Empfehlung zur Kamersmartphoneüberaschung des Jahres aus meiner Sicht. Das Nubia Z50S Pro. Hervorragende 35mm Kamera die auch schnell auslöst und dank der 35mm einfach Mega aussieht. Einzig Ultraweitwinkel und Tele stinken etwas ab in Innenräumen. Dafür gibts das Gerät aber nun auch global.
@@lltechview vielen Dank für deine sehe ausführliche Antwort! Tatsächlich verwende ich situationsabhängig meist die Haupt- und die Telekamera. Die Weitwinkelkamera kommt bei mir nur selten zum Einsatz. Auf dein Kommentar hin habe ich mir die drei Geräte mal näher angeschaut und bin vom Oppo Find X6 Pro tatsächlich sehr angetan. Das wirkt aus meiner Perspektive wie das beste Gesamtpaket (außer der Tatsache das man es importieren muss). Das Sony ist technisch sehr beeindruckend, aber glaube ich für meine Alltag zu umständlich. Oft möchte ich einfach nur schnell den Moment festhalten ohne irgendwelche Einstellungen treffen zu müssen. Eine leistungsfähige und zuverlässige Automatik ist mir also sehr wichtig. Das ist vielleicht auch einer meiner größten Kritikpunkte am Xiaomi 13 - je schwieriger die Lichtsituation wird, desto inkonsistenter werden die Fotos. Das führt dazu, dass ich oft mehrere Fotos machen muss und der perfekte Moment bis dahin schon vorbei ist. Und nur ein verschwommenes, verwackeltes, zu weichgezeichnetes oder falsch belichtetes Foto übrig bleibt 😅

Wenn würde ich eher das normale und nicht das pro Modell wählen (ist mir zu groß).
Das normale 13 er hat ja leider kein LTPO Display wie das pro, das normale 14er jedoch schon.

Nice review. So which now is the best Android camera phone? I want to buy one now, but I'm not so sure which one. I'm in Europe, but I don't care about Android auto. I care mostly about photo, video and battery. Besides normal phone functions. Is it Oppo Find X6 Pro still the best? I'd appreciate your opinion.

Unfortunately, to date Xiaomi seems not to be intending to release a global version of Xiaomi 14 .I don't understand why if the calibrations are made by Leica sometimes the difference in colors becomes so important

The 4k xiaomi 14 Pro didn't show anything different from the 1080p from the 13 pro. I don't know what this argument about 4k front camera being made for if it doesn't show us anything different

No auto focus in wide angle is just beyond justification. I bought xiaomi 14 and now regret it as HDR performance is not good for any camera. Also Gen 1 for USB is just iphone level bullshit tactics. Fooled by its compact form tactics. Last time buying a compact phone and compromising on things. Also no sacrificing periscope for compact form factor is foolish on my part. In my country oneplus 12 is 10% cheaper than Xiaomi 14 but i buy this for compact form factor now regretting
The UWide AF is usually only used for macro shots. As the Xiaomi 14 has an excellent 3.2x macro option it is not really necessary imho to have AF on the UWide. As for the tele in general. Its working fine for portrait shots. Its definitely not a zoom monster but the predecessor or the 13 Pro wasn't either. If you regret buying the Xiaomi 14 you don't have an option to send it back and decide for the OnePlus 12?

I just think xiaomi is terrible at making premium devices, from looking at reviews I only get that the mi 11 ultra can still beats the 14 14 pro which I think I rather buy the 450usd mi 11 ultra old of 3 years.
Especially I find the 13 ultra worth with variable aperture and better stabilization, however the mi11 ultra is worth far more for the non photographer people.
