Ignoring just about everything about this for a moment, did none of the people mandating this ever thought of the song as good and/or singable? It's so much a generic LGU/school hymn: flat, boring, and uninspiring. Where os something similar to the CSC March, or the Bukidnon provincial hymn, or even the Iligan March? This "Bagong Pilipinas" hymn is just so uninspiring, and this is supposed to arouse patriotism. Does anybody in the Government knows how to make patriotic music anymore?
