So he may know him very well, but the responses are meant for the members of general public (Ghanaians) to make informed decisions about the responses of the nominee to ascertain whether they best suit the role or not. This isn't anything personal that should be based on emotions than logic. People on that vetting committee ask questions not for themselves, but for Ghanaians. So whoever asks a nominee a question, asks on behalf of the generality of Ghanaians and responses should be addressed as though they're answering Ghanaians whose taxes will be used in paying them and not just the personalities before them.
