Haven’t gotten my wisdom teeth out yet, but I have had another oral surgery and I totally empathize with you! I lived on mashed potatoes for two weeks after surgery lol 🥲 Sending you lots of love and hope you’re feeling better, Katie 💌
THE NIGHT AGENT IS THE BEST SHOW THERE IS TO EXIST I watched it three times through and could watch it again but nothing beats watching it for the first time
HAHAHAA i just got my wisdom teeth out too girly so I totally understand your pain 😋 i hope you have a speedy recovery and I wish you the best of luck!!
I am 19 now and I got my wisdom teeth out at 16. Definitely freaked out way more than I should have because I have horrible anxiety about different things and usually it isn’t as bad as what you think it will be. For my personal experience I had zero pain ever I mean like you could slightly pinch me and it would hurt more than my mouth ever did it was such a painless experience and was so grateful for it! I hope you feel better soon…… sometime within the next month or so I have to get my tonsils and adenoids out and apparently it’s a lot worse when you are older so I’m here freaking out again cause it can take 10 days to recover 😬
I once hit my chin when I was little and had a big surgery and I remember having my food blended, like my mother blended literally everything. I completely feel you, there's nothing better than being able to eat normally again.
I have to have mine taken out soon, thank you so much for sharing your experience so openly - helps me feel calmer! Also the car videos were incredible xD
I am so happy yours wasn't a bad experience!! When I got mine out this summer I got an infection after doing everything correctly and it was the worst mouth pain!!
Glad you feel better! It was so funny when you dropped the headband thing and caught it with your other hand my little brother started screaming because you caught it he thought that was so cool😂
Thank you for this vlog!! I got all 4 of mine taken out when I was 15, and my dentist low-key forgot to call me back to get my stitches lol. Anyways, I love your videos and hope you get better soon 😊
i got two of my wisdom teeth out when i was 19 and it wasn't too bad at all! my surgeon was amazing and i felt very little pain!! thanks for sharing katie!
Katie your amazing you filming yourself talk and explain to us what’s going on even though you don’t feel your best thank you ❤ also I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon to and i was so scared but watching you film this makes me less scared
it's crazy how the experience different it is for everybody. my anesthesia wore off pretty quickly and i didn't really have any pain or a lot of blood. I took one pain killer and I mainly was concerned with eating real food. hahaha I ate solid food the next day.
I got my wisdom teeth out almost two weeks ago and I totally agree that not being able to eat food was the worst! And I'm glad you recovered well and have some funny mems!! I also agree that it is interesting and funny to see others experiences so thanks for sharing!!!
So my experience was…interesting. I was 16, and all four were impacted so they all needed to come out. I had absolutely no reaction to the anesthetic. I woke up and was completely coherent. Could walk within 5 minutes of waking up (I think protocols were different for me cause I had to walk myself out??) and I remember having a POUNDING headache as soon as I woke up. I was scared to talk so I kept aggressively pointing at my head when the surgeon asked how I was feeling. I honestly forget what he said, I just remember me pointing at my head hoping he would understand what I was trying to say. Day 3 I stupidly made the decision to go to youth group because I needed to see people, and boy was that the wrong decision. I felt so uncomfortable a half hour in and I didn’t want my parents to tell me I told you so so I stuck out the two hours… worse idea ever. And then a couple days later I had my friend’s grad party to go to and it was just the most awkward thing cause everyone kept asking why I wasn’t eating and I still couldn’t have solid food (I was told not to for a week) so I was like “yeah I had my wisdom teeth out like 5 days ago” and everyone thought I was crazy for being there, but I mean it was my really good friend’s high school grad party no way was I going to miss that. And then I had to sing at church the next day and my jaw felt so tight by the end that I tried to go to sleep to avoid the discomfort 😂 Worse part for me: the STITCHES. Mine started to dissolve earlier than the surgeon said they would and I got so scared that I did something wrong cause that’s could potentially cause dry socket if the stitches opened. Luckily I did not get dry socket, but I was so scared. And I had some bruising on my face as well as swelling. And yeah that was my experience.
So happy you made it through okay! I got mine out my freshman year. While it is not fun experience at all, better than being in pain if they grew in! God bless🫶🏼
My mom did the exact same thing when I got my wisdom teeth out. It was brutal smelling the Starbucks in the car on the half hour drive to the procedure place.
i was sooo scared before my surgery and i had mine taken out with only local anesthesia but it was sooooo much easier than i expected. only felt pain that was easily managed with acetaminophen for the first 12-24 hours and could eat normal food after a day or so. the antecipation was definetly the worst part
Oh yes I remember how extremely painful it was for me to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, when I woke up I asked how come you guys haven't started yet, they said son we're already done, it was traumatizing
I got mine out in the summer! My first 3ish days were the worst. I went out of the house with friends on day two. My puffyness went down on day 5ish but then both sides got puffy like a week later. Idk it was weird
I got mine wisdom teeth removed all 4 out at 19 and for me I couldn’t eat or drink anything for the first 24 hours after the surgery. Luckily I slept most of it. My second day I got clear liquids and day three liquids only day four soft foods and finally could eat regular food after five days. That was 10 years ago so I guess that recovery is a bit different now. Also I didn’t take any medication I got a prescription for I just took ibuprofen because the pain didn’t really bother me
WE NEED AN ALLY TAKEOVER VLOG!!!

Night Agent is a great show. Hope you feel better soon and the swelling goes down. I wore the ice like 24/7 and it helped the swelling a lot.
