Thanks for this . Saw Roxy at Chatham Central Hall in 1972 ( first tour ) and was blown away . They dominated the next 10 years of my life . Saw them at the O2 2022 ( 50th anniversary) . Far out . ❤️to anyone who loved ( loves ) Roxy ✌️.
We’re lucky that we get Roxy as not many do, I’ve listening to Bryan and Roxy since the early 70s and will never stop. My kids have been brought up them and appreciate their quality. Beauty Queen is brilliant as are most of their songs - viva RM.
Are all of you Roxy people aware of a film called ' Flashbacks of a Fool ' starring Daniel Craig ? It's essentially a storyline built around ' If there is something ' - a song you may have heard of 😊. ✌️
I was there that night, at that time this band was one of the best on the planet, the music was tight and complex. Out of the blue pierced your soul. Brian has definitely lost the depth a kind of harsh richness that was there, later renditions of early work suffer in my humble opinion.
Does anyone remember the empire liverpool 1979 ? People in the audience cried, absolutely brilliant show, what a great band, absolutely the best band ever .....
Beauty Queen - Roxy Music Well he can certainly wave his magic 🪄 to produce a lovely 🥰 song to WoW his fans with. He doesn’t have to do anything more to prove how good he is to keep his fans happy 😃 Well Done, Bryan, as usual you provided comfort and pleasure to us all. Continue doing what you’re doing and we’ll be happy. Haha 😛…. Perfect.
Thanks for posting. I was at the City Hall that night-the place was absolutely bouncing by the end with that fantastic version of Do The Strand [as on Viva] Bryan's voice certainly was something special back then. This and Bowie at City Hall in 73 are my 2 favourite memories of those golden years.
I'm getting on a bit now, but if memory serves me right I was one of the stewards that night working under Bob Taylor, head Honcho of all the stewards, with my mate Ian Jefferies who got me the gig. Was already a RM fan from the start. Plymouth boy who moved up north for a while. Absolutely mad about RM from their first appearance on OGWT. They were fantastic. Will never forget,
Wow, thanks for this. Bryan's voice in the 1970s was an amazing, powerful instrument. Is it really true this wasn't performed again until May 2015? I feel very lucky to have seen/heard him sing it in Liverpool that month.
I saw this beautiful song played live long ago at London Rainbow but never again until 2016 at Bryan Ferry’s LA show where I almost fell off my chair! Let’s all hope Roxy Music does Beauty Queen on their upcoming tour🤞🏻🙏🏻
Thanks Roxysiren, love how it takes me right back to the London Rainbow show that year. So great to hear this wonderful song played live all the way to the end!
Still really really really not tired of this after decades of listens.

Art rock legends. Nothing else need be said...
The epitome of fine arts. VIVA Roxy Music!!!
Has to be in the Roxy Music Top 5 songs, along with "Out of the Blue," and "Mother of Pearl."
Absolutely!

What a show it must’ve been!! Literally one of their greatest ever, def luv the Empire Pool & Stockholm ‘76 shows but this is prob #1!!!
One of the most elegant and classy songs Bryan ever wrote. Thanks for posting!

I’ve got that song book. Remember my Grandad trying to play Virginia Plain on his piano all those years ago🥲
Hey don't forget how solid the great Paul Thompson's drumming is.drives it so well so tight are his fills.
Sit back put your earphones on .Play it loud, let the music take you to another place.
Striking and dramatic song, yes it should have been on Viva.Wonderful Roxy Music
The most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Thank you.
My favourite track from THAT 2nd album - just the best you'd ever heard , seamless .
Roxy changed after Eno’s departure, but the first four albums were and still are my favourites of all time.
That's the cutting edge of music right there, those four

Should have been on Viva!
An expanded edition is WELL OVERDUE.
Definitely 😍
I was there and at that time the group rivalled any in the world. Bryan has lost some range and power. I prefer this but he is still world class.
Bryan’s lyrics what can you say......he’s a genius
Still lightyears ahead.
40 years later 😎👍❤️💪

It is true, the Waterfront Hall Belfast on the 6th May 2015 on Bryan's solo tour.

Fantastic
one of my favorites from roxy music...thanks for sharing.
Thank goodness for you! The chords aren't difficult to figure out, but to see the real deal (and hear it played live) is a special treat. Thank you!
Even tho Mr. Eno put his stamp all over FYP & this brilliant song…
Mr. Manzanara & Mr. Jobson take it to a whole new level!!! Brilliant!!!
Brilliant!
Very good live recording of this rare song. Thanks.
Wow. Especially the "instrumental in G" section. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Roxysiren, love how it takes me right back to the London Rainbow show that year. So great to hear this wonderful song played live all the way to the end!
