Yeah, it was a good story, but you still can see that he is on the side of politicians, not on the side of sport and healthy mind. I'm still suprised that 2 years later, people don't see the truth. Nole is now in the position like Muhamed Ali was, he will be remembered years later like someone who fought for freedom and standed his ground in the dark times. We don't deserve people like Nole or Ali, God bless them

Cult tennis, there are somethings u didn't mention.
      1. Novak had a PCR and and a Rapid antigen test on 16th December. The Rapid one came out negative on 16th and 17th, and because he wasn't feeling any symptoms, he concluded that he could go out(that was wrong but it still explains why he decided to go)
      2. He wouldn't have incurred any loss if he would have stated that he had travelled to Spain. They weren't going to deny him because he had travelled to Spain so therfore it was a mistake and not a lie. Such mistakes do happen and are corrected at the airport itself (The former immigration minister told this at abc news). The way it is being put sounds like he lied to get in
      3. In the deportation letter made by the immigration minister, section 14D stated that “Novak was a man on good grounds"- implying he had not broken any rules. In section 15 he states that “Novak is an ineligible risk to the community"- implying his medical exemption was valid. He was kicked out from the country because the minister thought his presence might excite antivax sentiment which may cause civil unrest.
      4. The second hearing was not on the basis of the merit of the decision (Therfore natural justice wasn't allowed to Novak), it was on the basis that whether there was a legal error in the deportation or not. The immigration ministers power in this case is so strong that he just needs to prove that his decision was rational, as proving if the decision was right or wrong didn't matter according to the law.
      5. Two other players also came under the same circumstances before Novak came but were kicked out after Novak came.
      6. There were elections within 3 months in Australia and most of the county wanted him out the country.
      7. The PM said he would be deported if his medical exemption wasn't sufficient, but the immigration minister did say that his exemption was valid.
I request you to put the full side of the story 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The reason the Immigration cites is- Even though Djokovic has followed the Australian rules correctly and even though he is medical exemption is valid i want him out because people might perceive him to be antivax, and that might increase antivax sentiment and therfore lead to civil unrest. The official reason is not about Novak( he says Novak is good) its about what Australians might perceive of him and that might cause civil unrest.

1:06 Just want to say that requiring vaccinations for athletes to compete in certain sporting events is up to the local government in many cases. In the NBA, Irving can't even play home games because of this rule and many superstars have missed out on games when they play in certain cities due to contracting COVID. So yes, other local sporting bodies *have* required innoculation to play.

And yet there is no reason to mandate a leaky vaccine that a Pfizer official admitted was not tested for transmission and that is why the jabbed can still get infected and transmit it to others making the mandate invalid and just a means of control.

This is still only half of the story.
    - You never mentioned that 25 other players, team members and officials applied for medical exemptions which were clearly and obviously offered. They were granted to a few (Sasa Ozmo claimed it was nine). So, it was not the case of one player asking a privileged treatment, it was following the rules to a T.
    - Novak missed the ATP Cup taking place in Sydney precisely because he didn't have the medical exemption at the time. Serbia won the ATP Cup two years ago and playing for his country is a top priority for Novak. He would never miss such a tournament. He played Davis Cup a few weeks before that. In an interview yesterday, he said he was ready not to go to Australia at all and is now ready to miss all the tournaments that require the vaccine mandate.
    - Not mentioning being in Spain on a declaration, was an honest mistake. The pictures of him practicing there were all over the social media and there was really nothing to be gained by withdrawing that information. In fact, at his boarding in Dubai, the same question was asked and he himself responded in the affirmative. Making a fuss about omitting it is just muddying the waters.
    - During the first court session, judge Kelly asked: "What more could this man have done?" implying that he had everything in order. The ruling of the second hearing confirmed that all his documents and paperwork was valid. Let me remind others, those few who received medical exemptions were already in Melbourne, some for more than a week, practicing and going about their business. Renata Voracova even took part in a warm up tournament. Only after the mishandling of Djokovic case, she was placed in the same shabby hotel, interrogated for hours, ordered to undress... Croatian coach Filip Serdarusic couldn't follow his brother to a challenger tournament that they were about to travel to from Melbourne. Lines person didn't even wait to be approached, she left immediately on her own. None of them would have been expelled had it not been for mistreatment of Novak.
    - Novak's Instagram post saying that he got the exemption made the Australians crazy after the brutal lock downs that were imposed on them. Sydney Morning Herald reported:
"Former Australian Open tournament director Paul McNamee was left stunned that Djokovic would be the only Australian Open participant so far to have his visa approved and then rejected.
“For those asking, all players go through the same visa process overseen by Tennis Australia to play the Australian Open [as non Australians are currently not able to enter]. So it beggars belief that Djokovic is the only player that has had his visa granted and then rescinded,” McNamee said on Twitter.
On Wednesday, the former doubles champion said: “We need to remember one thing … even if you are angry, Novak Djokovic did not set the rules.” "
That anger prompted even Jaala Pulford to say she hoped Nadal would win which was a pretty ugly statement considering all the other players in the draw.
    - While in detention, Novak didn't have change of clothes. He was guarded by two policemen. His diplomatic passport was taken as well as all his possessions. This is how a government could potentially treat illegal immigrants, not those who had all the documents in order and who would never attempt an illegal entry. Also, Nole would never embark on a 25 hour flight just so he could try his luck at the border.
After the first week, AO had losses. More people were looking at how to get the refund than how to get tickets. More than 20 players and team members were positive while taking part in the tournament. Vaccinated Rublev entered Australia positive. Talking about protecting the borders... Bernard Tomic played sick as well as Ugo Humbert. In the end, the fear of what Novak's presence might incite (totally ridiculous specially considering Australia has about 93% of vaccinated population) was offered as a reason for his visa being cancelled. To quote The Age:
"Australian Lawyers Alliance spokesman Greg Barns SC, a barrister experienced in migration cases, said Djokovic was now feeling the full force of migration laws designed to remove suspected terrorists from Australia, not tennis players.
“One of the most dangerous aspects of the Djokovic matter is the preparedness of the federal government to deem someone to be a risk to public order simply on the basis of what it perceives that person’s views might be,” Mr Barns said. “This is Orwellian and it is deeply troubling in a society supposedly committed to freedom of speech and freedom of thought.”

Yes, NOvak should be allowed to play because this Covid jabs issue was just political since the jabs do not stop infection or transmission and the truth has been exposed many times already. Why do you think censorship of other medical doctors and scientists became the SOP so we only heard the official narrative questioned by these vilified, shamed, ridiculed, censored, and even fired medical doctors/nurses/scientists?

    • @marlenebuls9535

Of course , he should have been allowed to play. He was given an exemption. I think a lot of the blame falls on Craig Tiley. How does he still have a job, if he was instrumental in getting an exemption for Djokovic? Djokovic had natural immunity , anyway. The mistake was in giving him a visa in the first place - again that is Tiley's fault. But having being given the visa, it should have been honored. Extremely outrageous behavior from a fascist government.

Didn’t he get a letter from the Australian tennis association backed by the county government in Victoria before he came? Kind of shows the rules weren’t followed by Australia. The minister also said he did not pose any significant risk. This was a political hit job.

You said- "A player, who despite organisational and government rules flew to Australia" which makes people think that he broke the rules.

The video is incorrect about his testing. He took two rapid antigen-tests, which both came back negative prior to the event with kids on the 17th. On the 16th, he took a PCR-test. This is the test of which he claims that he first saw the results after the event. Sounds plausible to me. I just had Covid last week and I got a negative antigen test and positive PCR test. I have heard recently that antigen tests are significantly worse at detecting Omcron, which was what Djokovic had.

    • @grafunknown4572

@@benjaminpedersen9548 Sounds like the truth. I catched Omicron too, and when I tested with Antigen the first day when I felt very sick, it came back negative. A few days later when I felt much better and needed the test for exam participation I finally tested positive. Even better: My sister was sick too so she tested with a PCR. It came back negative first. After a few days she gets another email from the laboratory, correcting the result to positive. This is all a mess.

@@Krischan04 It is what his statement says. I took it at face value, because I have no evidence against it and I find that while Djokovic sometimes keeps information for himself, he is honest with what he shares.
I know some say that he is lying about injuries and what not, but I have never seen evidence to support that. If you are about to say that he lied on his visa application rather than made a mistake, first answer the question:
      1) What reason could he possibly have had to be dishonest about his whereabouts before going to Australia?
