Scoreboard doesn't look that way. I believe he's performed against Alonso better than every other "number 2" driver on the grid with the exception of maybe Sainz and he's been eliminated fewer times in q1 than Alonso. In fact, he's performed h2h against Alonso better than Lulu has performed against Russell.......Facts. It's also fair to mention too that Alonso has gotten upgrades sooner than Stroll.

If Newey goes to Aston Martin, all respect I had for the man will have left the building. Working with the Strolls is a terrible career move and would be a shame to see his swan song supporting suck a toxic family to Formula 1.
