I'm decorating in Orkcore. The look is dominated by red, grey, and brown. Brown leather and brown wood. Grey concrete floors, grey iron, occasionally grey stained wood such as my house number sign. Red leather, sedona red stained wood, a bit of red trim, red painted roof. Dark ages war/hunting weapons such as battleaxes, shields, and spears as decorations. Hide rugs and Navajo rugs. Raw materials and recycled materials. Exposed industrial elements such as large bolts where practical. Pointiness added everywhere it can be done safely, such as pointy plants, pointy curtain-rods, pointy fencing, pyramid tacks.
Cute finds! Your dining chairs painted in matte black would look stunning
Thanks for the idea!! I agree. Those chairs came from my husband’s grandmother hence I feel intimidated to paint them.
Greetings.. lovely home. Loved all your decorations and the colors you used. Thank you for your tips and ideas.

Hello Nathaly Your minimalist decor looks simply beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!
Ah! Yesterday I was at Hobby Lobby contemplating that taupe vase coincidentally at the same time you must have uploaded this! As well as the smooth one from Target! I talked myself out of both bc I *may* have too many of the double-handled jars. But it just occurred to me that I could knock off one or two of the handles of the taupe one. They weren't discounted though, so maybe I'll make the trip back when they go on sale.
Your videos are inspiring. It is actually refreshing to see someone share their styling solutions for a home that is not "perfect" and sadly I can understand why you feel you have to add that disclaimer in the beginning so people won't make rude comments. When I see absolute perfection it only makes me feel badly about my own home and want to give up... But we all have design flaws that we have to work around. My husband and I have busy gold & brown granite and regrettably he won the fight over our big leather sectional as well. We had it custom made with a designer many years ago and it was 12k so I have to live with it. Lots of pillow and throws definitely help, once your puppy is out of the chewing stage. At least your sofa is gray. Ours is camel so I am using a lot of cream and navy blue to cover it up and my rug has those tones plus gray to tie it all together.
We also have similar dead space above the cabinets due to high ceilings. Baskets are a great idea to help keep the space airy but not dated. You can also try using the big round ones that are meant to hang on a wall. Also when adding pots, you could try placing them on top of thick pieces of foam squares to raise them up a bit. Michaels has floral foam that comes in long 1" x 3 foot sheets which really helped level everything out because the tops of our cabinets woodwork is so uneven. You can use a single layer or more depending on how high the molding is on top of your cabinet so it won't be seen from the below. You can then wrap the foam in cellophane or lay a sheet of wax paper on top so that dust won't cling to the foam. It is easy to just swiffer the cellophane or better yet, the dust clings to the wax paper so you can just wrap it up and throw away.
Again I appreciate you sharing your ideas to style around an imperfect home❣In the real world, most of us don't have instagram-worthy homes.
All looks great! Blessings
Your Spring refresh looks beautiful. I love the marble lazy susan, and the vases. Everyhing looks beautiful😊
Thank you so much!!
I needed that tip for covering the media cords. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I love it! You're making me want to do a little refresh for my living room
Let me know if you do😍
Very nice decor😊
Have you thought about taking the cup holder piece out of the sectional and you can go on thumbtack and get someone to run the tv cables behind the wall was less than 100 dollars. The decor looks nice.
Thanks so much. That’s a great idea but my husband on the cup holders but my husband loves that thing.
Lovely!!🎉
Thank you Cindy!!
I think it’s odd to put basically 3 of the same style vases/ pottery on the console & again on dining table. They’re pretty but there’s so many different pieces of pottery that could look nice. Also why not put a candle in the holder? Definitely going to check out Hobby Lobby & Home Goods tho bc items r pretty
Good job 😊
Thank you so much!!
✨✨✨
You seem to have very tall ceilings so you can get away with over sizing your items more. Like on top of the tv, a massive mirror would look amazing there.
Yes they are very tall. Thanks so much for the idea!!
You mentioned your thinking of replacing your table can you show us what type of table your thinking of
Of course!! As soon as I come up with some ideas. Thanks so much for watching!!
I've had my eye on both of those hobby lobby vases. I love their new vase section so much, it's tempting not to buy it all.
Same🫣 haha and every time I go I see even prettier ones 😩
