I would appreciate to see this release in action... But as far as I could see, it has no security trigger or does it? Or do you know an inexpensive backtension release with a safety feature for retracting the arrow without shooting it? Thanks again!

Entered a competition last month and got a decent score using this particular release. It is a hinge release, so there are no trigger, for me safety mechanism on a hinge release is the click, I try not to let down the release when it already clicked
Oh, about the safety feature, I afraid it is the same with other back tension release. It is actually safe to let down, even after the click. Just grab the thumb peg back again and relax the ring & pinkie, the angle will make it safe to let down

This I would say is similar to tru ball HT hybrid flex release, just a little bit fatter. At around a third of the price too.
