Richmond vs Carlton was a disaster in the first quarter. I went to the game and the amount of boos were insane. The push from Noah Balta should've been called and multiple other free kicks for Tom Lynch were so soft which led to 2 goals whereas Curnow gets bullied. Luckily the refs realised and we won.

im a freo supporter not surprised we won but were the only team to beat a team who played last week (minus the ones who play each other), crows and dogs fans saying gc and melb got an advantage from playing a week before but not be for the lions. go freo./
And Brisbane are by no means a bad team, very proud of Freo

Richmond won 3 flags in 4 years and it was not that long ago and now are getting respect for competing but LOSING against a team who is only rising and had key players out on every line in Weitering, Walsh, Martin and Motlop. When Carlton was shit and was losing to TOP teams but competed they got absolutely slammed for it. Hell, Carlton get slammed for winning games. Not talking about you specifically Macca because you do credit teams for winning even if expected but its a generalization
Yeah I understand where you are coming from, I always like to look at teams from a glass half full approach if possible too. Richmond were 2 on the bench with a few key position players out and finished strong. The Blues probably should've won by more with the missed chances they had in the second half, so there is plenty of upside with the outs they have too.
@@RilesMacca 100% like I said not a personal attack on you. I don’t even support the blues I just seem to notice the narrative shift around them. Richmond did well with the outs during play, Carlton was no guarantee going into it, they did well to hold on when they had a chance to let it slip.
I would not rule out the chance of seeing an all Sydney Grand Final this year
