I’m a first year throws coach, been coaching football for a couple years and was asked to do throws this year, so I’ve been absorbing as many resources as I can to help me refresh my memory and keep learning more since it’s been a good 6 years since I threw and I was by no means an expert (just a big strong kid who could throw far in spite of form lol) and your channel has been a great help for me. I was wondering if you had any advice on other resources a new coach needs to be aware of since I’m really out of the loop on this sport although I am really enjoying exploring this world of throwing, I wish I would have been as into it when I was younger as I am now but I was so focused on football.
I bought a large waterproof “duck cloth” tarp from tractor supply. I actually bought a second one to layer over the first one after about a year for more protection.
awesome! thank you for sharing!

Paul Gov Throws University on instagram is a great resource. Dane Miller runs it and posts excellent information.
That form at 7:30 tho😍😍
Devin Ford ha!! Check Instagram for the gangsta walkoff!
I was wondering if you throw discus into this as well?
No we don't. Too high of a risk of cutting the tarp and the discus rolls off it. Dangerous so we use smaller physical therapy soft toss balls.
What kind of tarp did you use for the setup?
