The Hazel Grouse Caller does bring them in, so the reason that you didn’t get any mating calls is because it isn’t a locator caller. They come in really slowly though, it took me 15-20 minutes to call one in that I would estimate was around 200m away.
It is great that we finally have ample options for those small plaques. It was only a year and a half or so ago that I remember you mentioning in a vid that you were having a hard time filling all the small plaques with anything other than diamond mallard and cinnamon teal.

Flinter, do you get what I call "troll flocks" when hunting waterfowl. You can't spot them nor shoot them if far away. Because in one of those "troll flocks one came close enough for me to spot (9 meters) and it was a lvl 5...but now I know there able to be spotted and now I'm wondering how many diamonds have passed without be knowing...
I am trying to do the quests and im also stuck looking for a gold scoring raccoon dog! I've found around 15 zones all in the south of the map and maybe only a level 6, he didnt make gold lol. I need willow and rock ptarmigans too!
Great hunt Flinter, It would be awesome if we could get plaques with the animal info on it rather than having to highlight the trophy to see the info. New trophy lodges are definitely needed.
Yeah we need a big lodge like saseki but I want it to be more rustic with some gun racks but not as many as saseki. I actually like spring creek better wish it had gun racks tho.
Flinter doesn’t use hacks, mods or do such things as pop resets. He plays the game for a huge amount of time, plus with the amount of experience he has already behind him, he’s very skilled. Skill, plus time, equals trophies. Plus on any map there is almost always some nice initial spawns that you’ll find while exploring the map. I’ve barely begun to search my map and already had a max weight diamond moose, fairly near an outpost. Mods and cheats are dumb, and are for people who are too lazy to play the game, or are simply bad at hunting!
i just wonder. is there anny chance you could have write down what weponds you are using. i know this would be a logical thing for manny. but am compleatly trash when regardet hunting and what to use. and frome a noob prospective, it would be a good thing since you only have spendt 4 houers and 15 sec in this game :D "and then some"
I'm playing on xbox and the grouse/ ptarmigans always spook before i can get within 150m. From the video it looks like you're just kind of running in on known need zones, is that the best way to hunt the ground birds? Just be quick and scare em in the air?

You seem new. This is how the game has always been, diamonds were never hard to get, and the game has never been a challenge, cause it’s an arcade hunting game, not meant to be realistic.

The weapons I’m using in this video is the 16 gage you get from the rancho dlc, .243, .22, and the .308 😋
