I was confused about that because he said after that the classic had a little bigger screen. It looked like the invisible bezel took same amout of screen as the physical because it had a black ring in place of a physical one so I don't think the physical bezel takes away from classic and makes them the same size. Had the original Galaxy watch, but ordered the standard watch 4.................While the rotating bezel is nice, it adds to much bulk. The standard watch 4 allowed me to go from the 42mm original to the 44mm watch 4, to gain the bigger screen and larger battery without the large size feeling on my wrist.
As much as I like the classic bezel I think I'm going for the modern sleek look of the watch 4 this time. Don't want to spend $350 for the same style watch I've been wearing for the past 5 years.

I think it's because it was right after he started the watch and it was syncing. My active2 does this a little but give it a minute to sync and then the lag goes away. Active2 has .75 ram and the Watch4 has 1.5 so shouldn't be an issue.
During initial setup the watch is installing all compatibles apps which you have on your phone. The watch probably had quite a bit of load going, you can also observe the same issue in different videos. I'm sure once it's done with its initial setup the watch is more responsive.
I went to Samsung's website and saw that they have only 40mm and 44mm. I love bug watches so I was hoping they had 46mm but I guess the 44 is enough as you do not have the rotating bezel.
9:54 - that is necessary because it drives a small electrical current from the bottom electrodes on your watch (through your wrist) to the electrodes in the buttons (through your arms) and I believe it has something to do with measuring your body resistance and calculating the mass composition through that. if your two fingers were to touch your wrist you'd open a path of smaller resistance which the current will prefer to flow through, therefore getting an erratic reading due to the shorter path. I could be wrong on this but I think, if you look at the bottom side of the watch, that the electrodes are isolated (the metallic ring is not complete, but sliced in the middle) giving you a positive and negative electrode. so the buttons on the side may be as well one positive and one negative, giving you current in both directions (from wrist to finger and from the other finger to the wrist)
Would be nice to inform the viewers what size we are looking at and what your wrist size is. Everybody who wants one will question this, what size will I get?

I can't decide which one! 😫 I'm upgrading from the original. I like the bezel but also like the sleek, minimalistic look. I think seeing both in silver, side by side will help me decide. I'm leaning towards the classic. I've heard the battery life isn't great which is a bummer!
The reason why you use your "Ring finger" is because there is an vein called the vena amoris, which directly runs to your heart. Hence, you get a more accurate reading by using it. Also, this is why your wedding ring is placed on your "ring finger" because it symbolizes that your heart is tied to your spouse's heart through matching bands/rings.
There is no such thing as the "vena amoris", it doesn't exist. Before medical science discovered how the circulatory system functioned, people believed that a vein ran directly from the fourth finger on the left hand to the heart. Because of the hand-heart connection, they chose the descriptive name vena amoris, Latin for the vein of love, for this particular vein. (source: wikipedia)

I believe the watch measures your body's information via the electrode on the under side by the heart rate sensor - they don't want your hands to touch so that you do not short circuit between your hands, rather than letting the electrical signal run through your chest!
0:45 both of those models come with the same screen size it's just a little bit bigger on the classic aalrighty then lol
🤣🤣🤣 I’m guessing you don’t know which finger is your ring finger. Your a wise man 😎
Can you please tell me a size of Both watch which you reviewed? Watch 4 (44or 40) classic (42or46)
Tim - since the software is the same, either would be fine. I'm interested in what biometrics (BP & BIA come to mindlwork out of the box. BP still not available on the US version of the GW 3- unless you use a 3rd party app (or go through a lengthy sideload process).
Does the Galaxy Watch 4 is able to use custom uploaded notification alerts?
I can't decide which one! 😫 I'm upgrading from the original. I like the bezel but also like the sleek, minimalistic look. I think seeing both in silver, side by side will help me decide. I'm leaning towards the classic. I've heard the battery life isn't great which is a bummer!
Bezel all day trust me.
It actually has the same battery and everything on the inside is basically the same, for me it comes down to the outer features and I pick the classic
Is this 40mm or 44mm on GW4 on the demo video? Thanks
😍
Looks like the 44
Watches say 44mm and 46mm on the back, see 2:50.
@@dan321 oh ok cool. It was hard to see on video so had to screenshot and zoom. Thanks!
I have the og galaxy watch and feel it's too bulky for day to day wearing.
Looking forward to the active 4
Wil not be a 4 active the normal 4 is supose to be the active
The watch 4 40mm is the same size as the active 2 nice size for us ladies
@@rick4168 yeah regular watch 4 that is. They change the names so many times. Lol
@@blondiejam924 yeah 40mm is just right. My partner loves the galaxy watch 2
Hi can I disable body composition on the galaxy watch 4?thanks
MYTH
Great video as always. Please talk about the limited features for non-Samsung phone users and the missing Google apps in your review.
The classic is what I am getting 👍.
How is it?
do people use screen protector on these or the screens are made tough?
As a longtime Samsung watch owner (Gear sport 2 years, Watch Active 2 1,5 years), newbies be aware fitness tracking sucks and so called "5atm waterproofing" can fail even at leisure lake swimming (happened to me on both watches) or during washing your hands (happened to other ppl) and warranty will NOT cover it (happened to all of us), repair cost = price of a new watch.
can you charge it with galaxy watch (1) charger? Or vice versa
Pre ordered the Galaxy 4 44mm. I love that sexy minimalist look 🔥🔥. The classic is just too clunky and bulky for my liking. Just left Google for that intriguing Samsung ECO system and the new one ui looks amazing.
I preoderd galaxy watch 4
46mm lte , my question is this watch can will work with another android phone? I have samsung galaxy z21 ultra, so im asking it just curious
the Watch 4 has a stronger screen to the Classic, probably the one I will go for as I like the clean look and you get the digital bezel
I just preordered the Watch 4 Classic. This will be my first smart watch.
Mine too!! So glad I waited now!! Can get all apps from phone on watch!! Thats what held me back before.
The watch 4 every time and bank the 100 notes👍
really like the idea of a classic style watch with all of the benefit of modern technology. I just purchased the classic 46. I will look for a nice high end leather band to complete the look.
Please review the watch 4 first. Thanks!
Is there any metal part touching the wrist? I am allergic to metal. Thx in advance
I ordered the galaxy watch 4 thanks for the information on both of them 👍🏽
Hi! Is this the 46mm or 42mm version of the watch 4 classic?
Hello. What do you think a black leather strap could look on watch 4? (not classic)
Can I find my phone remotely using watch if I loose it somewhere or it gets stolen? Thank you
Does Google Pay already work? I read it can be installed but crash on initial setup. Can you try to setup please? Thank you and kind regards
Is the blood pressure monitoring going to be available in the U.S?
