A nice watch, i have been looking at the Skmeioak. This review made me push the buy Button. And thank you for your warning about the movement and the hands.
I like this watch. If you go through the instructions, there is also micro adjust to align hands and day wheel perfectly. The reverse LCD is not nearly as good as the LCD you got.
@funwithwatches7549 I wouldn't either. Just added it so others were aware. I have a black model and a silver, glad I haven't had to change the battery yet. Lol. Thanks again for making these videos.
What are you going to do with the old watch? Do you have a hand press? I would think you could just pop them back to high noon, then reset the battery, no?
Sorry, since most watch companies don't send me review watches, I have to sell them so I can buy more. So this channel is unable to provide long term status updates. Plus, since I am always wearing all kinds of watches, a long term status report from me wouldn't be much use.
I know the North Edge Hornet I just reviewed had an auto light feature you could turn on. I wonder if this one has it. I don't have the watch anymore but you might want to look at the manual. Let me know if that is the case.
@@funwithwatches7549 I learned that if you hold the “light” button down for 3 seconds it goes into auto backlight mode. I was just about to box it up and return it before you responded. Thanks a bunch!
@@PrisonMike-hold up, I just got the same watch and I cant get that to work, you just press 3 seconds the light buttom on any setting screen, that's it? Thanks
I also have a very similar one, but with resin strap from another company called SANDA... it's bigger but I actually like it quite a bit better. The light for the LED display is much better, and from a distance "looks" more like a Casioak. Only problem is the buttons are in a weird order, but you set and forget like any other quartz. SANDA 3167 is the model.
Hold down the top left button for a good 10 seconds. It should be flashing sub. Keep pressing the bottom right until the day points to Sunday. Then press the bottom left. Wait for hands to stop spinning. Keep pressing the bottom right until minute hand points to noon. Then press the top left button.
Check in the user's guide .. it has everything you need to know.. or download just casioak (not the solar version) general version user manual.. both has same function.
A bad full review, cause the most important feature present in casio is the hand shift mode wich is not available in this watch, ( auto ligth), is important because in some moments the digital display become useless, sorry about my bad inglish
I never miss a Skmei review!
And this one is pretty cool looking, actually.
Had one of these for about 6 months now. Cracking watch absolutely love it. Easy to set up keeps time well. £18 I paid for it absolute bargain

Can u tell me how it is done? I Lost the manual?
When you are in WT mode you can set another City than UTC just press the lower right button to set another city
Doh! I guess I should have read the instructions. I though the second time was stuck on GMT. Thanks for the correction!
Thanks for the review, I was looking at this one and am interested
I just got one all black and I'm hoping the mods for the casioak will fit this brand and model. Thanks for review.
How is it working?
@@Js_travel_dairy the watch is a steal for its price, looks and features. Sadly no compatibility with casio mods.
@@JLa748Hey which one looks more better black or grey one
I love this watch, I'm going to get one. One more nice review, bro
Wow I'm impressed by that watch.
Thank you for a good review 😊
So they’re allowed to completely copy the casio gshock??
Tere ko wahi chiz 2k mein mil rahi hai lele chup chaap Casio 10k mein de rha hai itna hi dikhaat hai toh lele Casio ka idr kiya Gyan pel rha hai
Its strap size can be adjusted?
No micro adjustments
Since u had it for like a year now did the case material change color to bronze because it's plated
I sold it. I don't have the luxury of keeping my watches as I have to buy most of them.
hi can we change the dial for custom it like the g-shock ?
No
😢 ty for all @@funwithwatches7549
It's not only UTC time, you can cycle through all the time zones.
Yeah, I was informed of my mistake some time ago. I didn't feel like pulling the video over it.
I added a note in the description about my mistake.
@funwithwatches7549 I wouldn't either. Just added it so others were aware. I have a black model and a silver, glad I haven't had to change the battery yet. Lol. Thanks again for making these videos.
@funwithwatches7549 That's what I get for not reading the descriptions I guess. Apologies for the assumption.
No, I just added it. I should have added it as soon as I found out I was mistaken.
I bought for a friend of mine. 😊

I just sold it for 5 bucks.
Can you try disassemble and modify it just like ga2100
I already sold it. And the broken one.
So you can't use it for dual time? This one is not for me. I enjoy your reviews though 😊
What is meant by it
@@moizbutt4030 huh?
Yes you can set it for dual time when in WT mode press the lower right button to set the city you want
Is it maybe possible to change it with casio insides? Like just using the case for casioak mod.
Not sure why you would want to.
Is the watch still working? In good condition does it have any trouble

Can the outer shell for a real casio g shock GA2100? Would love to but multiple colors and use on my GA2100 lmk if anyone has tried this mod
Quick question IS IT WATERPROOF?
It's 30 meters water resistant which is the bare minimum.
Man I just got mine in today and loved it till just now. The backlight keeps randomly coming on every time I move the watch.

@@ricardoman21yeah man I made a mistake. This ain’t even the watch I got. Mine is a Sanda. Very similar to this one but it’s a different brand.
can you remove the bezel and fit it into a casioak mod?
No
The LED display on mine keeps turning off. I press a button and it comes back on again.
Also you can change the 2nd time zone, it has many cities... did you read the manual?
Hmm, I chose the black version with black bracelet, links are definitely rolled. EDIT: Ohh hollow, yeah. I guess I didn't know the difference.
No, somebody already educated me on that, I didn't think it was important enough to update the review.
Heh, I removed three links as well. We're wrist twins! Sorry. I wear mine tighter than you have it though.

It looks goddam awful. What is the point of making a $22 12:21 homage to a luxury watch? A miss 4me.
It's an homage to a $100 watch - the Casio GA-2100. Does that make it better? 😊
Original Casioak metal price is more than $400. 😅
