You aren't lying coach. I thought I knew a good amount of football before I started coaching. Boy was I wrong. I didn't know a freaking thing. I've slowly increased my knowledge by diving all into football. Great video.

I wish I knew everything about football! But you're right, the longer you coach the more you learn whether it's play calling or drills or certain situations. But can never stop learning! The moment you don't take advice or have an open mind that might be the time to get out of the sport!

Coach Im 26 and an asst coach in SC in an extremely competitive conf. Your channel has helped me tremendously. Ill never forget getting brought on and sitting in my first coaches' meeting at 24 and thinking to myself "I have no idea what they're talking about or how they know all that they know. I'm in over my head". Luckily being around experienced, quality coaches that know the game has helped me in leaps in bounds but the FEEL for the game and it being 2nd nature is certainly a time and experience factor. Please keep it up!! Love the vids.

Knolwledge is great, but the best coaches I have been around have been able to make what they know, known by their teams. They were also good organizers.

I like your content. I just highly disagree with your content on this topic. People minds mature at differently. Coach Mcvay played D-1 football and then became an NFL assistant immediately after college. Think about this he's been around top level coaches since 2008. As we all know in the NFL coaching is their only job. The coaches on that level probably spend an extra 8 hrs per day learning more football, which is and extra 240 hrs in a 30 day month.
