So sorry for your loss John. You and your late wife reminded me of my aunt and uncle. They were just like both of you. Unfortunately she too lost her battle with breast cancer and then months later he passed away. Nobody knew he ended up with brain cancer. I pray for your health and well being. Stay strong and know there are many people that care about you and are here for you.

They were married for over twenty years; I don't know if I would call her a gold digger. when they separated the only child support he had to pay was for his own daughter.
Even if the children live with you part time you can still be held responsible, there are women who collect spouses just for income and child support. Better to just be friends.
Wow John! My new lovely wife and I were in Nashville over New Years, and we happened to be eating at a restaurant and saw you and a female friend walk in. I didn't have the guts to introduce myself. John...you and I have many parallels. I lost my first wife to ovarian cancer 2 and a half years ago. The grief was immense, but with the strength of God, I have been able to move on. You are amazing being able to go through this. I encourage you pick your head up my friend. I also pray and know that God will restore your relationship with your kids. This Breaks my heart. My story is very, very similar to his and I personally know his heartbreak, losing his companion, and my birth children not only turned me away when he died, but they also took everything I had, put me into a cheap nursing home, by God's Grace and mercy, I was rescued and I am redeemed now and living quite well, alone for the first time in my life.

I have a special place in my heart for John and the Kent family in Smallville!!! I was caring for my mother (who had dementia) when the series was on. I very much needed the "hugs" I got from the love demonstrated by the Kents!!! I lost my twin sister from cancer recently and I totally understand the grief. Loosing the person you are closest to is a real blow.

John's new album "We're Still Us" is his best work ever. I followed his music in the 80s when he had some great hits. Loved seeing him on concerts in Oklahoma. In 2023 when I learned of his wife's death I was devastated for him. It is good to see him putting his grief to work for him.

I was one of those starstruck girls. Bo Duke hit me like a ton of bricks. Posters pictures everywhere. Then that horrible morning show, announcing his marriage and showing pictures on top of it. I was devastated. I came home from school, did my chores, went to my room and cried. Two weeks this was what I did. I should apologize to John for jinxing his first marriage. I came out of my room wiping my tears, my mom asked me if I was done crying, I said, I don't know why I've been crying. John will be divorced by the time I'm old enough to marry him❤

I myself come from the Netherlands. I was a big fan of The Dukes of Hazzard myself. I sincerely hope this man makes it through this hell. Not seeing your children anymore seems terrible to me, but when you finally meet your soulmate who is in fact your salvation, then this drama will happen to you. Difficult to understand. How much bad luck and sadness can one have. The man has a sympathetic aura and if there is a God why does he allow this? If this message reaches him, wish him all the best. I leave out all the usual clichés because they are of no use to him. Stay strong John.

The man I was with 34 years passed away Dec. 23, the same date I buried my only sibling years before. My brother that I loved and adored! My brother once said, "life is for the living....so live, live, live! I have learned how short and precious life is! You are a talented man! Acting and music! I promoted Grand Ole' Opry shows back in the 70's and early 80's. Music is always on in my car or home. I owned several businesses over 45 years, always had music on and sold in my retail shops! Throw yourself into your music, it brings joy to thousands!

John's new album "We're Still Us" is his best work ever. I followed his music in the 80s when he had some great hits. Loved seeing him on concerts in Oklahoma. In 2023 when I learned of his wife's death I was devastated for him. It is good to see him putting his grief to work for him.

So very sad after going through two marriages that didn’t work. And then finding his soul mate. Then her passing away. 😢
I was one of those starstruck girls. Bo Duke hit me like a ton of bricks. Posters pictures everywhere. Then that horrible morning show, announcing his marriage and showing pictures on top of it. I was devastated. I came home from school, did my chores, went to my room and cried. Two weeks this was what I did. I should apologize to John for jinxing his first marriage. I came out of my room wiping my tears, my mom asked me if I was done crying, I said, I don't know why I've been crying. John will be divorced by the time I'm old enough to marry him❤
Very sad when she passed away in February of this year on her b'day.
Really so very sad for what he had to endure… I know that feeling very well but somehow we just have to keep moving forward in life… 😢 💔
